Back to Camp Half-Blood

"I feel like that there is someone out there who understands me better than my mom. What I experienced that couple of days was something that someone would never want to have. Sadly, now I know, there are kids like me also that have the same problems."

Maia is a normal girl. Or, that's what she's been told. Turns out, she is a very powerful demi-god. Her brother personally took the liberaty of defeating one of the most powerful titans out there.

Wonder how Annabeth ever found Percy in his dreams?!?

I've created this cuz a) I feel bad for poor Leo who's been left a loner and b) I waited long enough for a daughter of..... oops almost gave it away. As you might of guessed, this is a spin-off of Percy Jackson and The Olympians and Heroes of Olympus series.

5. We're on the run.

“They’ve found out.” Mr. Brunner told them.

“There’s definitely gonna be more.” Holly stated the obvious between their conversation.

“Camp is the only safe place on heaven and earth for her now.” Jason said. I started freaking out.

“Will someone please tell me what’s going on?” I asked frantically.

“You just disintegrated a manticore.” Jason said calmly.

“What is that?” I started to sob. The manticore-thing was scary and a little disturbing. Holly came over and tried to comfort me.

“Here’s my phone, Maia. Call your mom and tell her you need to leave as soon as you get home and tell her that you need to have some clothes ready.” Karsten said seriously. The four of us walked out of the museum and across the street.  I talked to my mom and she knew exactly what I was saying. I didn’t, that’s for sure. Holly and Jason waited for me out side of the townhouse. Karsten came in with me.

“MOM!” I called. She ran down stairs with a huge knapsack full of stuff I’d need like: toothbrush, toothpaste, clothes, and toiletries.

            “I love you, sweetie.”

“Mom...” I said in embarrassment. Karsten looked at me. I gave his look back and added the look of ‘you tell them, I personally see to it that I’ll shoot an arrow in your eye.’ I hugged her knowing that this was like one of those man-hunt movies I saw in the theatre. I wasn’t coming back, assuming that I make it to this camp that they were talking about. Alive.

“Do you know where we can get a car?” Karsten asked.

“Here.” She handed him the car keys for the car.

“Something you don’t want destroyed.” Karsten said and she handed the keys for the rickety old van we got for free from this crazy guy (cough cough Tom). We ran out and went to the side of the townhouse. Jason and Holly followed. Holly got into the driver’s seat. Karsten went in the shotgun seat. I was in the back with the Jason-kid. We drove out of Manhattan and got on the highway to Long Island. I decided to doze off, trying to calm my nerves.
