Back to Camp Half-Blood

"I feel like that there is someone out there who understands me better than my mom. What I experienced that couple of days was something that someone would never want to have. Sadly, now I know, there are kids like me also that have the same problems." Maia is a normal girl. Or, that's what she's been told. Turns out, she is a very powerful demi-god. Her brother personally took the liberaty of defeating one of the most powerful titans out there. Wonder how Annabeth ever found Percy in his dreams?!? I've created this cuz a) I feel bad for poor Leo who's been left a loner and b) I waited long enough for a daughter of..... oops almost gave it away. As you might of guessed, this is a spin-off of Percy Jackson and The Olympians and Heroes of Olympus series. ~Prongs(Sara) and Padfoot(Tessa)

16. Campfire

The entire Hermes cabin walked in a huddle behind Travis and Conner. I turned back to see what was happening and a couple of people were pushing and shoving others.

"Alright. Everyone go to the campfire. We'll meet you there." Travis told the others.

"Where are we going then?" I asked.

"C'mon. We're gonna see Annabeth."

"Alright..." I wasn't so sure that Annabeth gonna take this calmly.

"Hey Annabeth!" Conner called out and signaled her down like a taxi cab.

"Yes?" she asked. I could tell that her eyes were still puffy from this afternoon.

"We have something very impo-"

"I was claimed." I cut Travis off. This seemed to startle her. I felt so sympathetic for her. She lost her boyfriend, she been searching for him, finally thinks she knows where he is (according to Annabeth, it's happened multiple times), turns out she was wrong, then she finds Jason and her world is turned upside down.

"By who?!" She asked a little too loudly. Everyone in the ampitheatre looked at us.

"The twins think it's Poseidon." I said quieter. She gasped and tears welled up in her eyes.

"Conner. Tell me what it looked like." Annabeth demanded. "Tell me!" Conner was frozen with fear. Looks like Annabeth wasn't one of those 'dumb-blonde' girls associated in the jokes. "Travis, may the Gods help you, tell me what the symbol was!" she demanded again.

"It looked like the one Percy had when he came and was claimed." Travis held up his hands in a 'I surrender'-type of mode. Annabeth backed down. She was holding back tears. Piper had come over to the conversation and brought Annabeth and I to come and sit around the campfire. We sat beside Jason and Leo. Annabeth was used to not sitting with her cabin, I guessed. I started to relax.

"This isn't going to be such a bad campfire after all..." I murmured to myself.
