As the girl looked around in her bag, she heard heavy footstep on the tarmac behind her. As she searched, she grabbed her pepper spray and laid her nervous and impatient fingers around the cap. The footsteps continued, she grabbed her bag tightly. her feet slowly turned around to face the brute, only to find that he was like death walking. His presence made her innards curdle. He smiled, oddly that was the brightest thing about him. His teeth were so... perfect. She smiled back, he lent down to kiss her neck. His smile widened, his lips curled around his teeth. He was ready to strike. To claim another victim.
As the piles of murder stack up on J. Johnson's desk he must find out what is in common with all of the victims. There was no gun, there was no knife. What he found lead him to myths and legends, but they were the only possible answer.

11. Taking her home

(Still George's P.O.V)

It was Thursday. Tomorrow was the day I could get Emma back. I had slept in her office, wanting to be surrounded in her perfume. Monty was kept with me. He was the only thing that had lifted me through the past week. I had not ate, drank only a few glasses of water. I held on to the day of our wedding:

I saw her grace down the aisle. Her white dress stuck to her hips beautifully. I smiled as she nearly fainted. Her eyes caught mine. That brought her back to me. She tugged on her father's arm. wanting to gallop down the aisle to me. Soon enough she was her standing in front of me. The sun bouncing off her. We went through the boring ceremony to the part that I wanted to do first. The I do's. I remember them so vividly. Her lips carving beauty in to those simple but so impactful words.

I scooped her up in to my arms as we had arrived at our new house. we ran upstairs, well I did anyway, and threw her on the bed. My life was complete. It always would be with her at my side.

It was then I realised what would happen if I lost her. My life wouldn't be complete any more. I woke to the soft tap of someone at the door. I picked up my bag and attached Monty's lead on again. The door opened and I walked out. Ready to save my wife.

We arrived on the river where he was waiting. Where he took my dear. I stepped out the car and shouted at the top of my lungs:

"I'm doing this for you Emma!" I waited for a reply but found none vocally. In front of us six large vampires joined us. Emma was on the side's back. She was bruised all over. He leg was mangled. Her eyes never looked up they always were fixed to the floor.

"Here's the money A. Let's say we come to the middle both with want we want." I proposed to him. He nodded and brought his man with him to me. I passed him the bag and took back Emma. I lifted her back in to my arms.I started to walk away when something pulled at me. I dropped Emma back at the truck and watched as the vampires walked away. When they were gone I got back in the car. I turned to look at her, she didn't know the difference of where she was at all. I started the car and started to drive when she said something.
