As the girl looked around in her bag, she heard heavy footstep on the tarmac behind her. As she searched, she grabbed her pepper spray and laid her nervous and impatient fingers around the cap. The footsteps continued, she grabbed her bag tightly. her feet slowly turned around to face the brute, only to find that he was like death walking. His presence made her innards curdle. He smiled, oddly that was the brightest thing about him. His teeth were so... perfect. She smiled back, he lent down to kiss her neck. His smile widened, his lips curled around his teeth. He was ready to strike. To claim another victim.
As the piles of murder stack up on J. Johnson's desk he must find out what is in common with all of the victims. There was no gun, there was no knife. What he found lead him to myths and legends, but they were the only possible answer.

7. Agreeing

We arrived at the station in the pitch black where everyone was in my office, waiting. We stormed in were I sat at my desk and started to draw on the pad I had in my desk. They all crowded round me as I drew, but still kept some distance with George at my side. As I got in to the final details, it began to look like the man or vampire that was in the pub that very same night. I looked at George to see whether I had him right, he nodded. I gave the pad to the closest person to pass round, while I ran to the whiteboard at the far back of the room. I shoved the pen lid off and started to right down all the details of what happened:

-The way he looked

-What he wore

-What happened at the very end of the night.

I shivered at that, how could a man so nice be someone who's being hunted for all this. If he was a regular man then I would have given him a chance but no. He was living on borrowed time, and he wasn't ageing. How I envied him and hated him at the same time. Killing all those innocent people just to feed. I went back to sit on my desk.

"How did you happen to be there Emma?" The dragon lady asked me.

"Me and George were celebrating through a question he asked me, you don't need to know what that was. So as I said, we were in the pub. When I saw him and thought  that I knew him. He obviously knew me too so when I got up to get some drinks he came and said hello. George got protective, I don't blame him actually, and said a few words with him. He seemed cool by the tie George came back. But as we had just decided to leave all of the panic started. Girls were being sucked dry, Men were standing in front of their wives and children wanting them to be drunk, but even when they were dry I knew that the rest of them were going to be killed.

"I think though that he will not act alone again though. I think that because he was in the pub was to create more new vampires. He might and then stowaway in the pub so that once he has a new batch of vampires at his side, they can feed on the rest of the living people he has kept for them." I relied, I felt as though my description was good and the look upon their faces believed that too.

"So I have agreed to your proposal. I will do the undercover mission. For mine, Georges and our future family's sake." I gave George one final look, he smiled. His eyes glassy with tears, he knew that I had to do this. What was killing him though was the fact I might die in this. He would never see me again. I hoped that wouldn't happen. I loved him too much.
