The legacy of George

This is a poem. It doesn't really make much sense. I wrote it during registration (you know the first 15 minutes of the school day that just seem to last eternity), so its quite short. And its about a guy named George.

1. The legacy of George

Bequeath to me my legacy won,

The stories, tales which you hath spun,

As I’m lain down on my last bed,

Memories and whispers falsely lead

My life warped in rumours glare,

Twisted, turned beyond repair,

Yet for you hearsay is real,

So pride and glory I can not steal

Slain is the dragon you drew from mist,

Saved is the princess you made exist,

And although my true legacy is unclear,

Believe George the saints which you so love to hear
