How will she handle the pressure, AND avoid the Vampire slayers that are coming after her coven?

4. Ready To Go

The rest of the day was pretty uneventful, just an average day in high school. Since I have been doing this for so long it takes a lot for it to be more than an average day. I went home at three and got to work on my homework. Everything was so easy because I’ve learned it all already, multiple times, in fact. Kelly could never figure out how I finished my homework so quickly. She said it always took her hours to do it. Since I always finish my homework early, I have time for a pretty big social life. I have multiple parties every weekend, football games to attend, since I’m a cheerleader, and lots of hang outs with friends.

Today, though, I didn’t have any of that. I have been keeping this day clear for decades now. It was the day I’d go talk to the council about officially joining the coven. I would like to do that, but I also want to continue living among humans. I like it here. I’ll have to present a strong case in my favor for the council to give me what I want. Usually I would have my Vampiric parents (the people that raised me into the Vampire community) at the meeting, but since mine were staked, and I never bothered getting new ones, I’m on my own.

I finished my homework and left a note for Kelly saying I was spending the night at a friend’s. I might’ve forgotten to mention to her that I was going to Romania today. I wasn’t taking the common ways of oversea transportation. No, I was going to swim. Along with running, Vampires are also extremely strong swimmers. I got everything I needed and left. I ran to the ocean and jumped in.

I swam all the way to the beach of Spain and climbed onto the land. I wasn’t even breathing heavy. I quickly got out of the water and continued running, so no one would see me. I ran through multiple countries in a matter of minutes. It took me five minutes to get to Romania and the council headquarters.

‘Here we go,’ I thought to myself. As I walked in, I was taken aback by the beauty of the architecture. Then I saw the council and I was in even more awe.
