Unconditionally (Sequel to Styling My Life)

"Is this what you want?" I asked, my eyes started to get wet.
He looked at the floor. "I want what's best for both of us. This looks like the only answer right now."
I nodded. "Fine," And so I left.
I didn't know when I'd be back.

4. Chapter 2

Hallie woke up before me. When my eyes opened she was upright, listening to her iPod. I glanced over her shoulder and she jumped, not realizing I was awake. She was listening to Live While We're Young. I smiled and pulled out my phone. 10 new texts from Louis, one from each of the other boys, and two from my mum.

I opened the ones from my mum first.

'Harry, call me as soon as you land. Love you.' Was the first one.

I opened the second one.

'Harry, pop by our house first. I want to meet Hallie. (:'

I put my phone away, not bothering to read the messages from anyone else. "How long have you been up?" I asked Hallie, trying to figure out where I had put my DVDs.

"I don't know. A while." She pointed to a bag at my feet. I picked it up and shuffled through it. I found my DVDs packed at the bottom.

"Thanks," I said popping it into my laptop. The 'Play' screen popped up, when another idea occurred to me. I opened up Twitter and started a Twitcam. "Hello fans!" Hallie pulled out her headphones quickly once she realized she was on camera. "Harry and Hallie here!" Hallie waved shyly to the screen. I watched the views multiply by the second.

"So we are on a stuffy plane back to London right now." Then I quickly covered my mouth. Great, I had just told some of my most psychotic fans that I was on a plane to London. They'd be at the airport all afternoon waiting for me. I mentally face-palmed myself. Hallie must have realized this too, because she just gave a look like, "Now look what you did."

I shook it off. "Anyways, send in your questions, cause we have nothing better to do on this long flight!" I let out a relaxed laugh. Hallie nodded her head in agreement.

"Well, here's the first question from: thyles. That's a cute username. Her question is, how did Hallie and I meet?" Hallie looked at me. How far were we going to explain this? "Well, Hallie ran into me after a concert backstage it was just love at first sight I guess." I shrugged. "Nothing too fancy."

Hallie smiled and kissed my cheek. "He's quite the charmer, you know."

I laughed. "Next question, from onedirection4eva, another amazing username, and she wants to know why we are going to London."

Another pause between Hallie and I. My brain racked for some excuse that wouldn't cause fans to be attempting to bust down the college gates. "We are taking a little holiday to just relax." Hallie raised her eyebrows. "She didn't know about that part," I said to the camera, winking. We were playing this off pretty well.

A few hours later, Hallie had fallen asleep on my shoulder. I still had the Twitcam going and had been talking to the fans all the while. I ran my fingers through Hallie's soft hair and watched the comments explode. Only one caught my eye.

"plasticbieber: hallie's an ugly faggot."

I stopped playing with Hallie's hair. I watched as fans attacked plasticbieber telling them that there was no one as beautiful as Hallie and they were just jealous. But it still hurt. I signed off the Twitcam and shut down my laptop. Hallie's breathing was slow and steady as I thought about the first bit of hate I had seen. Had there been more? I really hadn't paid as much attention as I probably should have, but it never aroused a problem. Maybe she just didn't want to show me, in fear that I would do something about it. But who wouldn't? I laid my head back on the headrest and just pondered all of this, when Hallie stirred. Her face was pained and I watched as a tear slid down her face. Her fists grabbed my blazer tightly, and she buried her face in the navy fabric. She was having a nightmare.

I knew I couldn't wake her up, but it hurt me to think that she was scared and alone in her dream gone wrong. The thrashing continued before her eyes shot open and she was gasping for air.

"Hallie," I said relieved that her suffering was over. "What's wrong?"

She threw her arms around my neck and buried her face in my shoulder. I wrapped my arms around her back, pulling her tighter to me. "I had a terrible nightmare."

"I could tell," I whispered into her hair. She smelled like coconut. "What was it about?"

She pulled away and rested her forehead on mine. "I had lost you. Someone was taking you away from me and I couldn't stop them. I don't know why, my feet were just glued to the ground. I tried to move and run after you, but by the time I could finally go, the car that had taken you had driven far away." Silent tears fell down her face. "I was so scared."

I wiped her tears away. "Well, I'm here. And I'm safe. And you're safe, and that's all that matters, right?"

She nodded. "I love you," She said and pressed her lips to mine.

I kissed her back before releasing my hold on her waist. "I love you too."

Then she reclined back in her chair and started to close her eyes again. As if she had forgotten something, she sat back up and looked at me. "Why don't you have nightmares?"

"I do, I just remember that when I wake up you're always laying right next to me, and it's just a dream." I grabbed a pillow from under my chair. "It's easier for me to remember reality when I'm dreaming, I guess."

Hallie shook her head and flopped back down onto her reclined back chair. "Well it sucks that my nightmares are so realistic."

I laughed before the pilot went over the PA. "Ladies and gentlemen, thank you for flying with us. We have landed in London."
