The Marriage and Baby Project - A Louis Tomlinson Fanfic

"Rosie Moore. You will be partnered with....." He waved his hands around above a piece of paper while covering his eyes. JUST TELL ME! "Louis Tominson" I actually started laughing.
"You're joking right?" The whole class was silent apart from a few 'oohs' started by Zayn Malik. Another one of the populars. There's basically five boys I can't stand in this school. Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Niall Horan, Liam Payne and the devil himself Louis Tomlinson. Now i'm freaking married to the guy. I've been partnered with my rival Louis Tomlinson in The Marriage and Baby Project...

11. Mystery Tape and Don't Rain On My Parade?

"Rosie and Louis" He smiled up at us.

I think we should go back to that whole jumping out the window idea right now...

I was completely frozen as Mr.Walters began searching for the file to open the video.

My throat was dried up to a prune and I couldn't move.

I simply watched as Mr.Walters found the right video and clicked on it.

I couldn't protest, I couldn't do anything.

My whole reputation is about to go down the drain, right here, right now.

The screen went black and a couple of seconds later it started playing.

It started showing when we first got the doll. When we were in French class and the doll started crying. Everyone was laughing but they had no idea the laugh they were about to get.

Here goes my popularity. Right down the drain.

Suddenly the tape started going all fuzzy and the computer crashed.

What the hell?!

I looked over at Louis who was...smirking?!

"What the bloody hell are you so happy about?! Do you realise how bad this is?!" I whisper yelled at him and his face just stayed the same. Louis still has the baby and had it placed carefully on the desk. For once it actually wasn't crying.

Night time is hell.

"Zayn's pretty good with that computer stuff" His smirk only grew wider. "He put a virus on the video"

"Are you serious!" I practically shouted as a grin made its way onto my face.

"Don't get too happy. It's a virus for now but Mr.Walters can easily get rid of it" my face dropped.

Well at least it's gone for now. Wait I'm mad at Louis! Stop smiling Rosie!

Sometimes I forget that we're meant to be enemies. This whole project has changed me and we've only been partners since Friday.

Before I wouldn't give it a second thought before insulting or slagging Louis but now..I don't know...I just don't think I can do this anymore.

I guess the best thing really is to ignore hard as it sounds, it's better for both of us. For both of our reputations. If people found out we were actually friends, everything would go downhill.

I continued to ignore Louis for the rest of class which was spent doing absolutely nothing while many different teachers tried to get the computer to work.

Even the IT teacher could do nothing. He just shrugged his shoulders. Nice to know how dedicated our teachers are.

I looked behind me and saw Zayn who was extremely happy with himself.

I really have to thank him later but right now. Drama!

I only have drama twice a week but it's something I get overly excited for. It's the only class I actually enjoy!

I grabbed my bag and made a run for the door.

I reached the auditorium just on time for class.

"Good morning everyone! Today we will be holding auditions for Grease the musical! So if you could all please make an orderly line in front of the sign up sheet we can begin!" Ms.Teasy announced as everyone filled up the large hall.

Our class isn't huge but it's still quite big. It has around thirty people in it.

After everyone placed their bag on a seat we all made our way over to the sign-up sheet.

Obviously I signed up for Sandy but I also signed up for Frenchy because I've always really liked that character.

After signing my name on each character I went and sat back down in my seat next to Delilah. She's basically the only normal person in this class.

Delilah is gorgeous too. She has ash blonde extremely long straight hair to her mod back and bright blue eyes. She is my girl crush.

"First we will be holding auditions for Sandy" Ms.Teasy announced and I walked up onto the stage along with Hallie and two other girls; Sarah and Rita.

"Hallie Hills first please" It was Hallie's turn to look after the doll so she had to take hers on stage with her. Not that she was actually looking after it. I bet it hasn't been fed since Friday!

"I will be singing 'Don't Stop Believing' for my audition today" She smiled fakely and the music began to play. I've never actually heard Hallie sing before apart from in Choir but everyone's voices sort of blend together then.

I struggled not to roll my eyes as she started tapping her feet to the beat. Oh please.

"Just a small town girl. Living in a lonely world" oh my god. Her voice screeched through my head making me wince. Please someone make it stop.

She's so terrible.

Muffled laughter echoed through the audience but Hallie's face stayed the same. Full of cockiness.

I had to keep a smile on my face though. I need a good first impression to get the lead role. It certainly wasn't going to help my chances if I was laughing at someone else's audition.

After she finally finished the song I took a deep breath and clapped which only a few people were actually doing.

"Thank you Hallie that was...fine" I had to hold in my laughter as my teacher spoke.

Hallie seemed pretty happy with herself though as she walked off the stage with a huge smirk planted on her face.

"Rita Jones" Ms.Teasy smiled at the dark haired girl and she walked on stage. Rita definitely didn't have the confidence Hallie had but I'm hoping she has the same lack of talent.

"I will be singing 'Defying Gravity' from the musical Wicked" oh please god don't ruin this song. Don't ruin this.

The music started playing and I closed my eyes hoping for the best. It's not that I want her to be good but I will personally hunt Rita down if she kills this song!

"I hope you're happy! I hope you're happy now. I hope you're happy how you.mHurt your cause forever. I hope you think you're clever!" it's dead. Rita has officially killed one of my favourite songs from one of my favourite musicals.

And it's not that she was screechy or anything, in fact it was the opposite.

Imagine an elephant singing this song. That's Rita.

I just blocked her out for the rest of the song and clapped when it was over. Please let me be next. I don't think I can fake this happiness any longer.

"Rosie Moore" Time to shine ladies and gentleman!

"I'd like to sing 'Don't Rain On My Parade' today" I turned on the innocent act to make sure I didn't sound to confident.

Louis' POV:

I know as much as Rosie was happy that that video wasn't going to be played she was still angry at me.

Of course she is. I know I'm not getting back into her life that easily...not that I want to or anything.

Anyway now I've got Drama. A class I actually enjoy. A class where I an actually get a good grade.

The only place where I can be as dramatic as I want and not get in trouble.

So far I've had to listen to two terrible auditions. These girls really shouldn't sing.

This is our first musical of the year and it's my first year in drama. I only joined this class this year and so far things aren't looking up for me.

Of course I'm going to try out for Danny and I was happy about that...until Rosie walked on stage.

I didn't even know she was in this class.

So far this year all we've done is sit in this big auditorium listening to Ms.Teasy going on and on about back when she was young and all that crap.

"I'd like to sing 'Don't Rain On My Parade' today" Oh how innocent. I can see right through those puppy dog eyes.

She used to do that when she was a kid. When we wanted ice cream or to go to the playground she would turn on that charm. She does it with guys too. Maybe that's why she's so popular.

I've never actually heard Rosie sing apart from when we were five which isn't really something you can judge on.

The music started and I waited in suspense for her to start singing.

I don't think she knows I'm in this class either. I always sit at the back with the lads and we usually talk except today I'm actually interested.

At the end of the baltimore run, fannys train is leaving to go on to to chicago,

While nick must catch the train for new york and then head to europe. nick tells

Fanny he loves her and she suggests he marry her, but he wants to have a fortune.

Even after these few lines I was amazed...she can really sing.

She seemed lost in the words and her golden eyes sparkled as she looked out at the audience which wasn't very big.

I never knew she was so good.

She put so much sole into it. So much feeling.

Her eyes widened a bit when she noticed me smiling in the back. She quickly turned away from my gaze and sung even stronger as the chorus began.

Don't tell me not to live,

Just sit and putter,

Lifes candy and the suns

A ball of butter.

Don't bring around a cloud

To rain on my parade.

I have a pretty good idea who this song is aimed at even though she didn't know I was even here...

As the song came to an end her smile became even bigger.

"Thank you very much Ms.Moore! That was amazing!" Ms.Teasy complimented as she clapped lightly.

I certainly wasn't afraid to clap which earned me a stern glare from Rosie.

As much as I hate to admit it, Rosie is an amazing singer! maybe better than me and that's saying something!

I didn't even notice that another girl had finished her song as I was rethinking over Rosie's whole performance, everything about it was perfect.

"Thank you Sarah for that...good version of Good Morning Baltimore" I could tell Ms.Teasy certainly didn't like her audition even though I hadn't even heard it. That almost guarantees Rosie the part which means I need to be good.
