2. Lucky Them

CHAPTER ONE. “LUCKY THEM”

Rose’s P.O.V

“Rose, hurry up! We are gonna miss our flight!”

“I’m coming, Jacob. Calm your tits!”

“Haha, I wish I could but you’re the girl in this friendship.”

I stuck my tongue out at him as I trampled down the stairs. I had 5 suitcases full of clothes, makeup, and shoes. Jacob stood at the end of the stairs with a small duffel and a big smile.

“Let’s get outta here.” Jacob said.

“You have no idea how long I’ve wanted to hear that.”

*Terminal 1 Gate C Flight 4279 to London now boarding*

We got up from our seats and began to board.

“What are our seats again?” I asked.

“1B and 1D.”

“I wonder who will sit with us..”

“Lucky them!”

“Haha, lucky them.”

The flight attendant took our tickets and handed them back with a slip of paper. Jacob quickly put it in his pocket.

“What is that?”

“Nothing.” Jacob mumbled.

“Oh it’s something alright!” and I lunged for his pockets.

“You DAWG! You got her number!”

“Shut up.”

“You’re bright red!”

“What ever I wasn’t going to call her” and he walked over to our seats. I followed, with our carry-ons. There was already a passenger in between our seat and he was chatting with four boys across from him.

“Let me help you with those,” as the mystery boy rose and took the carry-ons from my hands. He had a thick British accent, curly brown hair, and the most magnificent green eyes. His torso seemed to go on forever and his skinny jeans fit just right. He was undoubtly handsome and he knew it.

“I can do it!” I exclaimed.

“No, I can do it.” He countered.

“I said I can do it!” and he dropped the baggage.

I put them in the overhead bin and tried to close it.

“They are gonna fall out.” said Mystery Boy.

“No they won’t.”

“Yes they will” and the bags fell on top of my head.

Then the world went dark.
