11. Let's do something Crazy.

(Liam’s POV)

We walked out of the Ice Cream shop together. I felt the sudden urge to grab her hand because there she stood, with the sun shining through her hair, wind blowing it out of her face. It felt right, so I grabbed her hand. She looked up at me with a smile. Without even thinking, I bent down and kissed her on the lips. I didn’t know what to say so I blurted out, “I’ve been waiting to do that since the minute i saw you.”

I couldn’t help but smile. “Really?”

“You’re so beautiful.”

(Christina’s POV)

“You’re so beautiful.” The words flew out of his mouth so smoothly. I felt a sensation of chills flow throughout my body.

“You really think so?”

“Of course I do.” He said. His eyes sparkled in the sun light. “Want to do something crazy?”
I hesitated in answering, “Depends....” knowing Liam, it probably wasn’t anything to worry about.

“C’mon!” He grabbed my hand and pulled me to the bus stop. Just as we got there, the bus pulled up and we ran on. After paying the fare, we sat down.

“Where are we going???”

“ ‘Dunno... Wherever this bus takes us!” he smiled the biggest smile which made us both laugh. We talked the whole bus ride, not even caring that everyone on the bus was looking at us. We were the “obnoxious teen couple” on the bus, even though technically we weren’t a couple.

It was now 10 o’clock and we had ridden the bus all around England. We stopped 29 times. Sometimes in the same place as a few hours before. We sat there in silence most of the time, enjoying each others presence. I had leaned my head on his shoulder half way through and just kind of kept it there. Every stop, at least one new person got on and at least one got off. This intrigued me. I just lay there watching the people come and go. Looking at their faces and making up stories in my head about them. Liam must’ve saw me staring and lightly nudged my arm. I sat up.

“It’s not polite to stare.” He whispered. I laughed and put my head back down on his shoulder. “ Sometimes, I like making stories up in my head about the people who walk on and walk off...”

“No way! That’s what I was just doing!” We laughed and whispered different stories into each other’s ears as the bus populated. It was finally us and the last man on the bus, and soon he got off.

“Now that guy... He must have no life... Who rides a bus at midnight???” Liam said and I laughed.

“We do!” I replied. Our laughter was interrupted by the bus driver.

“Sorry guys. This is the last stop. You’re gonna have to get off now.”

“Where are we??” Liam asked as we both stood up and

“FOLKESTONE?!” Liam shouted. “That’s an hour and a half away from London! We need to be back at London.”

“Sorry mate. I guess you need to stay at a hotel ‘till tomorrow’s bus at 7.”

“I’m sorry Christina. I didn’t realize...”

“Hey, calm down. You said you wanted to do something crazy right? Well riding a bus for no reason an hour out of our way is crazy haha! Let’s go to that new hotel, I hear they have 24 hour room service!” I grabbed his hand and ran off the bus. He turned and waved to the bus driver as he closed the door.

“I’ll check in. You go buy us PJ’s.” He handed me the money and I walked to the shop. He went the opposite direction to the front desk.

I searched the shop and found a pair of pink Batman PJ’s for me and some boxer shorts and a batman T-shirt for Liam. I met back with him in the lobby and that’s when the nightmare started. Girls from every direction came screaming and running towards us. A group of three hotel security guards ran towards us and made a barrier around us. Liam took me under his arm and we all slowly made it to the elevator.

“What room sir?” One of the Guards said.

“Top floor.” he said. We told them our room # and asked them to prevent anyone who wasn’t staying in that hall, from coming through. They agreed and then they kindly walked us to our door. I walked in and turned the lights on as he thanked the guards and shut the door.

“Uh Liam...”

“Yes, love?” he said from the bathroom, he was brushing his teeth.

“You do realize there’s only one bed right..”

I heard the faucet turn off and out he came with toothpaste all over his mouth. “Oh. Crap. I’m sorry! I’ll sleep on the floor!” he said through his mouth full of toothpaste.

“No! No! At least sleep on the couch!” I started laughing.

“Fine.” he smiled and then returned to the bathroom to finish getting ready. I quickly changed into my PJ’s and jumped onto the bed, bringing the room service menu with me.

Just from spending the rest of the afternoon and the whole night with Liam, I felt closer to him.

“The boys are probably going crazy looking for you right now...” I said while reading the food selections.

“Calm down Daddy Direction..” I giggled. “I’ll call Harry now.” I dialed his number and pressed the “Speaker Phone” button.

“Christina!” Harry cried.

“Hey Har!

“You guys scared us half to death, where are you guys?!”

“Are you ready for this?”

“Just tell us!” Louis chimed in.

“Folkestone.” I said quickly. They all started yelling.

“YO! Calm down!” I shouted over them. They became silent. “We just, erm.. took the wrong bus and fell asleep on the way... We’re at a hotel. We’ll be back  there first thing in the morning. I promise!”

“Okay...” Niall said.

Liam came over to the bed and sat down. “Hey lads, do we have anything going for tomorrow?”

“No man, we have off until next Friday. Niall’s mum invited us to stay the week. She said Christina and the other girls are welcome to come as well.” Zayn explained.

“Good. It’s a date..” We made eye contact with each other then smiled.

“Hey.. I don’t hear any talking on the other line. What’s going on?!” Louis butted in.

“What mo-” I hung up on him and Liam laughed.

“Shall we call room service?”

“Indeed we shall.” He picked up the phone and called room service. I ordered a burger and he ordered fish and chips. Within 20 minutes, the food was up to our room and we were eating our dinner on the bed, flipping through the channels.  We came upon a movie channel and “Father of the Bride” was playing.

“Keep it on this Channel.” Liam said, laying down on top of the made bed, crunching on his fish sticks. I sat beside him in the same position. The bed faced the TV so both our eyes were glued on the movie. We were both so tired that we weren’t tired. I know that doesn’t make sense but that’s the only way to describe it.

“If she was my daughter, I’d never let her out of the house... ever...” Liam said through a mouth full of fries-chips.

“Why not?”

“Because.. boys are bad.”

“But she’s 21.”

“Louis’s 21.”

“I’m aware.”

We went back and forth talking about random things then went back to the movie.

“When I’m older, I want to name my first child Taylor.” he said out of the blue. He turned to look at me. “What about you?”

“I like Anastasya, but no one back home likes it as much as I do.”

“Well, I happen to love it. It’s beautiful.”

“Thank you Liam.” I put my food to the side and leaned my head on his shoulder. “I might fall asleep, I hope you don’t mind.”

“Not at all, be my guest.” and with that, I slowly drifted to sleep.

(Liam’s POV)

“Hello. This is your 6 am wake up call.”

“Thank you.” I hung up the phone and turned to my right. Christina was still asleep on my shoulder, and the TV was still on. I turned it off and tried to slip Christina off my shoulder and onto her pillow but she woke up.

“Hey.” She said lightly with a smile.

“It’s time to wake up. We have to get a move on.”

“Okay... Carry me.” she said, lifting both of her arms up, her eyes still closed. She was definitely still mostly asleep.

“Okay...” I lifted her up “Bridal” style and walked out the hotel room, right after leaving a tip for the guards and the maid. The guards followed us downstairs and then into the cab that I called the night before. We got in and then we were off. In about 2 hours, we were home. Christina was still asleep so I picked her up again and brought her to the doorway. I knocked on the door and waited there for about 2 minutes until Niall opened the door. He couldn’t have been any louder.

“SHHHH! She’s sleeping!”

“Oh. hey liam...” he whispered. I walked through the threshold and placed Christina on her bed upstairs and closed the door. I walked downstairs and met the boys in the kitchen.

“So Liam..” Louis said mischievously. “How was Folkestone?”
