Waiting for You

Amanda and Skyler get the chance of a lifetime when they are personally invited to go on tour with their favorite band, One Direction. 6. Lost Connection

Skyler immediately freaks out.
"What were you guys doing? Ohmygosh were you kissing? Ohmygosh Harry they were kissing!"
She's never been a subtle girl.

Harry just stands there smiling, raising one eyebrow while looking at Louis.
Louis is blushing wildly, but I'm not the least bit embarrassed, especially since nothing happened, so I just stand quietly and approach Skyler.
"Nothing happened Sky, calm down."
"But-you two..."
"Didn't do anything, trust me," I try to say as nonchalantly as possible.
Louis pushes past Harry and scoots out the door. I feel bad that he's embarrassed, so I go after him.
"Lou, I'm sorry," I tell him, "I'll make sure they know nothing happened."
He rubs the back of his neck nervously, then says, "Yeah, yeah okay."
I walk back into the house to see Skyler and Harry hugging. They look so adorable that I don't want to disturb them, so I walk back outside to find Louis sitting on the  front step. I sit beside him.
"Well I'm just gonna let the happy couple be."
"Ha, yeah," he says softly.
"You all right Louis?"
"Yeah, I'm fine. So did you want to hang out again sometime?"
I sigh. I feel bad that he thinks he has to be my friend.
"Louis, it's all right."
"You don't have to be my friend, it's okay. Just because Harry and Skyler do their thing or whatever, doesn't mean you have to make it up to me or anything. Really, you don't owe me because you were forced into one double date."
"But I-" Louis starts, but is interrupted by the sound of the front door opening.
Harry appears at the doorway.
"Come on mate," Harry says, "Time to go."
"Okay," Louis says, standing, sounding reluctant to leave.
"Goodbye Amanda," Harry says, smiling at me before he hops in the front seat of his car.
I give him a small wave before turning to Louis, who is already looking at me.
"Bye Amanda," he says quietly. He steps toward me slightly, but then turns around and walks to the car.
Before I can reply, he gets in the front seat of the car. Then they leave.
