Waiting for You

Amanda and Skyler get the chance of a lifetime when they are personally invited to go on tour with their favorite band, One Direction. As relationships develop, secrets are revealed, and it starts to become unclear what will unfold. But the only thing the girls know for sure is that with these boys, love is always an option.

Marie goes back and forth between being with Niall and shooting her scenes, and Skyler and I spend the time being with each other and our boyfriends.
Louis and I try our best to keep a conversation going, but I mostly stick to talking to Skyler.
We are both equally upset about Marie's ignoring us, but she can tell that I'm even more upset about Niall.
If only I could tell Marie to back off.
At least Louis and Harry are distracted enough by the fans approaching them constantly. Most keep their mouth shut, but I can still hear some criticizing me.
It obviously hurts me, but there's nothing I can do.
Skyler is being really supportive, which I'm grateful for, but Louis is helping even more.
"Love," he whispers in my ear, "you are beautiful."
I roll my eyes jokingly, but it still makes me feel better.
What doesn't make me feel better is seeing the one person I feel threatened most by.
She walks onto the set, gracefully and self-assured. She knows who she is and she knows how people feel about her. Her hair flows freely past her shoulders, swaying across her back. Her outfit looks straight out of a fashion magazine, and she stands a good foot taller than me. Her face looks like a ad for Maybelline. Any guy would want to be with her.
And mine already has been with her.
Eleanor Calder walks right towards Louis and me, flashes her beautiful smile, and leaves as gracefully as she came.
My eyes follow her, my jaw nearly dropped to the floor.
Skyler notices my expression and tries to distract me, but it's too late.
She's already got me feeling like dirt.
I try to hide my heavily decreasing self-esteem from Louis, but he notices something is up.
"Amanda Banana," he tries to be endearing, "what's wrong?"
"Your ex is here," I say simply, not even bothering to hide my disappointment.
He looks around, and when he sees Eleanor, his face drops.
He turns extremely pale, and his lip starts to quiver. He keeps swallowing hard, and his hands fidget.
"Are you okay?" I ask him, genuinely concerned about him.
"I don't wanna see her."
"Do you wanna leave?"
"No, no- I just want to..."
"Want to what?"
"I want her to get out of here."
"Why's that Lou?" a voice says from behind us.
"Eleanor!" Louis says, shooting out of his chair, "What are you doing here?"
"I'm in this movie," she says, "How about you?"
"He's here for a friend," I come to the rescue.
"Oh, really?" she asks, looking me up and down, "And who would that be?"
I try to ignore the blow to my self-esteem, "Marie Dane."
"My co-star, I see. And you must be Amanda."
"She is," Louis tries to say confidently, but still looks awkward and uncomfortable, putting an arm around my waist.
"Well," she says, "that's nice."
She walks away, and Louis turns to me gratefully.
"Thanks Mandy," he smiles, "it's hard to be around her."
I nod my head, and we sit back down to enjoy watching the scene.
Camera's ready. I'm not.
