Waiting for You

Amanda and Skyler get the chance of a lifetime when they are personally invited to go on tour with their favorite band, One Direction. As relationships develop, secrets are revealed, and it starts to become unclear what will unfold. But the only thing the girls know for sure is that with these boys, love is always an option.
Co-written by Heather Tomlinson and Emily M. Horan, author of More Than One Direction, and the sequel, Choosing One Direction.

42. Among the Crowd

I make it out the door and it's not until it locks behind me that I realize I have no money and no ride.
It's a sign from God.
I know it.
I would be lonely at home if I left.
I'm being selfish leaving.
I need to stay and work things out with Louis.
I need to figure out my feelings.
I need to stay.
I find the front entrance of the concert arena.
When I reach the front, I find myself surrounded by crowds and bodyguards, but somehow push through to find Jim.
He looks confused at first, but I take his access pass and he doesn't question it, being the loyal worker he is.
I get through the front doors, then the gates, flashing the pass to anyone I need to.
I get into the arena, scanning the place for a way I can get to the front row.
I walk through the aisles towards the front, still holding my pass out.
I make it to the front, and notice that the boys are already doing their fourth song of the night.
I get to the front of the audience and wait.
I wait and wait.
It's not until their seventh song that Louis makes eye contact with me.
I smile when it happens, and when I realize what song is playing I feel my cheeks go red.
"Truly madly deeply I have foolishly completely fallen," the boys sing.
I regret going to the front and go to walk away, but in between verses I hear Louis shout out.
"Don't leave Mandy," he says into the mike.
Everyone around me turns to look at me, and I follow the bodyguards leading me onstage, head down in embarrassment.
The boys continue to sing, and when I get onstage, I start to hear the insults from the front row.
"You're a dirty skank!"
"You don't deserve Louis!"
"You should've left when you had the chance!"
"You're ugly!"
The boys are frozen in shock, unable to stop them.
I give Louis a look.
And he knows what the look says.
You really want me to go up there?
I turn on my heels and walk backstage.
It's funny how when I was among the crowd I felt safe, and now I'm more lost than ever.

Hey guys, I'm sorry it's such a short chapter but there is a lot more coming I PROMISE.

Just a heads up- I'm trying to finish this pretty soon so I can work more on my other two.
However, once I get more into the other two and have developed their plots more, I may write a sequel seeing as how this got a lot of attention.
So thank you all!
Stay tuned!!!
Any predictions on an ending?
