Dream Journal

I like to keep track of my dreams, so I will move them all here in case someone would like to read them :)

46. Swimming and Birds

I found myself surrounded by cockatiels. I had a cage hanging in my room, and two were in it. They were regular style (gray and white and yellow) but for some reason, they all had green back feathers. The first two dissappeared, then I went about my daily thigns, and all the sudden, another appeared in the cage when I had the cage cover on. I took it out and put it on my shoulder, and my dad asked where I got it, so I said "I don't know, it just appeared."

Then, I was at Hinkley Lake, a park near me with a big lake you can swim in. I was swimming in it with two other girls that I didn't recognize, but they acted like my friends and that I've known them for a long time. We werehaving fun, and the water was unusually clear for the lake. It's usually kind of muddy. It was nice, because it was hot outside, so we were having fun swimming. Anyway, there's a rope across half of the lake where you can only go if you are 18+ because it's deep. For some reason, I forgot I was older than 18, so I was like "Yes, I can go across." As soon as I went under the rope, my feet touched what felt like a pool bottom. I looked down and it was gray concrete with some paint on it. I looked back to the other side of the rope and suddenly, the whole lake had a nice and even concrete bottom instead of the rocky bottom it normally had.

Then I was in a strange version of Alice in Wonderland. I was Alice dressed in a big fancy dress. What was strange about this version is that no one died, and you had to pay for everything that normally people would have already, like the ability to feel feelings. The scene opened with the Queen of Hearts taking custody of an old man. He had stolen something small, and his punishment was "to be dead for 20 seconds." I heard a voice-over of someone that said "In a world where no one died, you'd think it would be a paradise. But was I ever wrong." They chopped off the old man's head, but there was no blood.

Then I was in the tea party part in the story, but it took place in a dark room with little lighting in a closed cabin type area. There was a small mouse who was very excited. He said "I can finally afford to buy some emotions!" and all the characters around were glad for him, and someone said "He will be such a lusty father." I didn't realize the mouse had just had children, and he couldn't even be happy because he couldn't afford to buy the emotion of happiness. Then I woke up, disturbed.
