Dream Journal

I like to keep track of my dreams, so I will move them all here in case someone would like to read them :)

36. Easter

The dream started where my brother and I were about 10 years old. It was Easter morning, and my parents had spread plastic eggs all over our backyard. We waited for the signal to begin, and finally my dad shouted "oh go!" We raced around and picked up the eggs and candies shaped like eggs all around the yard. I got a whole basket full.

Towards the back part of the yard, the eggs started dissappearing, and big boxes of toys and games took their place. There were piles of board games all stacked up high on the grass. I remember thinking "Wow why did they buy these? I don't even play board games." I left the board games where they were and picked a few puzzles and added them to my basket.

Then, my basket turned into a big plastic bag. Not a grocery bag, more like a fancy thicker bag like that you might get at Bed Bath & Beyond. I was getting annoyed because I wanted to use a basket, but this bag kept appearing in my hands. My brother said he wasn't having that problem, so I was really confused.

Then my parents too us to Drug Mart. The staff there explained that all of the things along the far wall were already purchased by my parents, so we could take anything we want. There were lots of games and toys, but I didn't pick up any. Then I saw some dragon Legos and dragon kites and I got really excited. My dad laughed and said that he was glad I found some dragons. I piled them all in my cart.

About thirty minutes later, my mom explained we had to go. She said that we weren't volunteers anymore, so we didn't have time to grab the Dragon Ranger Warriors that I found. I got really excited when I found them because they were just different models of dragons, but my mom dragged us out before I could pick the rest of them up.

When we got home, our backyeard had changed into a parking lot with a big dumpster and there were some men working on the power lines. All of the things that we left in the backyard were gone, and I asked where they went. My mom explained that only volunteers get them, and I got really upset and confused, but then I woke up.
