Divergence: One Direction

*Sequel to Match: One Direction* The long distance relationship has not exactly gone according to plan. Ariana and Harry are battling the time change, and between Ariana finishing school and Harry's career rapidly growing there is little time. One Direction is planning for the Olympics- practically the biggest performance of their lives- and Niall struggles to keep his cool. Zayn is now the only single member of the band, and, desperate to be in a realationship, hastily agrees to meet a fan via Match program... but could this dream girl become a nightmare? *Complete*

4. Match

Zayn sat in the white room, staring the at the multiple screens plastered on the walls. There had to be somebody out there for him. He was sick of being the only single member in the band. Zayn felt like an outcast.

Perhaps Match was the answer to his problems.

One girl sat lay on her bed reading, brushing her strawberry blonde curls out of her face. Another girl on a different screen was on Tumblr, her bright brown eyes partly glazed over as she looked at the pictures. A different girl painted a jar of flowers sitting on a stand. One was doing homework at an over cluttered desk.

There was one girl, however that stood out to him. She had darker skin, with distinct features and ringlets of chocolate colored hair that framed her face. She sat in a circle with two other girls as they talked, gossiped and laughed.

“Sound on screen 27,” Zayn called, and the technology obeyed. The other cameras faded, enlarging the one image of the girls in the circle.

“Relane,” the girl with red hair told the one with chocolate colored hair. “I believe I have just bought London.” The red head laughed, placing a plastic house on New York Avenue of the Monopoly game board.

“Yes, the royal jewels are yours,” said the blonde as she counted up her game-money. She looked up to the brunette and  added, “Your royal highness.”

“First order of business,” the brunette, Relane, said, as she played along. “Free One Direction tickets for the queen!” The blonde and red-head laughed, cheering in good faith.

“I’m sure she is still waiting to meet Zayn, Perrie,” the red-head whispered to the blonde.

“Oh, please, Lauren” Perrie laughed, “Relane hasn’t been planning. She’s not afraid to wing-it.”

“Sound off screen 27,” Zayn commanded, and the sound faded. What did he have to lose? Immediately, he decided to meet her. Surely one meet and greet wouldn’t be so bad.
