4. He Always Made Me Feel Safe

By the time we got back to the house, it was twelve o'clock. We both laughed when we saw that we never turned off our movie we had been watching.

We changed into some pajamas. I wore his sweatpants to bed and a t shirt. Wearing his clothes always made me feel safe. He always made me feel safe. We've been together for three years and bought a house last month. People always tell me I'm only twenty and I don't know what love is, but I believe I love him. He's my best friend and fiancé, he's always been there for me, literally.

I jumped in the giant recliner next to Caleb and played the movie again since we didn't get to finish it. I rested my head on his chest watching the movie, thinking about my mom. A few tears ran down my face, Caleb wiped them away and held me tight.

I stared at the TV screen and whispered "Do you think she'll be okay?"

Caleb didn't answer right away which made me worried. He then lifted my chin so I was looking into his green eyes and said "I'm sure she will be just fine with some time to recover."

I nodded then kissed him on the lips and laid back down on his chest as he wrapped his arms around me. I could hear his heart beating steady. I soon fell asleep on his chest, still never finishing our movie.
