It was dark. I was running and running, trying to find light. I kept shouting Niall's name, calling for my mom, just searching for anyone. Finally I came to the end of a tunnel. But there was no where else to run to. The only light was coming from the bottom, but it didn't look safe to jump. There was fog and I could hear a faint sound. I think it was someone calling my name. It was Niall, he was looking for me too! It sounded like he was coming from the bottom of the light. I jumped.
I shot up gasping for breath. Everything was so bright, my hands were being squeezed and I had a hard time breathing now.
"Lisamarie, babe, it's ok. I'm here now, we're safe."
"Huh? Niall? What's going on? What happened? Where are we?" My mind was racing. Tears were forming in my eyes.
"We're in a hospital. You passed out last night in the parking lot of the pub."
"Oh god, that actually happened?"
"Yes. Do you remember anything?"
"Alright well we can tell everything to Aidan when he comes in here soon with my parents."
"Niall." I looked at him with sad eyes.
"Just lay back down." Niall said while pushing hair out of my face. He grabbed a wash cloth and started to wash my face a little bit.
"I'm sorry." I whispered.
"Nothing to be sorry for. I'm sorry, I shouldn't have taken my eyes off of you."
"No, don't blame yourself."
"Lets not talk about this baby. Just keep holding my hand and please don't leave me."
"Anything you want." I loved when he said that. Then there was a knock at the door and officer Keegan came in.
"Hello guys. How are you feeling Lisamarie?" Aidan asked.
"Um I've been better."
"Do you feel up to talking?"
"Yeah that's fine. Whenever."
"Alright, whenever you're ready start at the beginning of your night and try to be as specific as possible please."
"Niall and I left his house around 8, we got there about 8:20ish, we went right up to the bar and Niall ordered us two whiskeys. Then I went to the bathroom. There were a couple girls in there and I could hear the door open up a couple times as I was in the stall. When I was getting ready to come out I noticed a piece of paper slipped under my stall door. It was the same kind like the last three. Folded in half with my name on the front. It was another threat, and they knew Niall had ordered us whiskeys. And by now I'm assuming this is a girl since they we're in the ladies room. I washed my hands super fast and ran out to Niall showing him without making a scene and we got out of there as fast as we could. We walked fast to the car and we found the tires were slashed, and another note. Once again a threat. While Niall was calling his mom to get us I grabbed my coat from the car and then something was put over my mouth and I was slapped. I remember my body feeling like jello and looking for Niall then passing out. And here we are."
"Well I was talking to the doctor and there were traces of chloroform, that explains how your body felt and passing out. I already requested the pub's security tapes and I should be getting the surveillance from the restaurant in London and the airport tomorrow so I can look at all three of them so I should be able to try and narrow down familiar people." Aidan informed me.
"That would be amazing. Any finger prints found?"
"Yes, but now they are in the database being searched for who they could belong too. I should have results in three days tops. But I do have something else to request from you."
"Not only am I advising you not to leave Ireland, but I think you should not leave Bobby and Maura's house. It clearly isn't safe. You should be discharged tomorrow. And I want you going straight there. There will be an officer outside your room, and patrol car outside the house."
"Thank you so much Aidan." Bobby said.
"Not a problem, you know I would do anything for this family."
We talked a little bit more, but I was really tired. Everyone except Niall, and the officer outside my room left. I made Niall get in the bed with my and I had a like a death grip on him. I was squeezing his hand and also holding onto his shirt. There was something that I needed to tell him.
"Niall." I said quietly looking up at him.
"Yes love?" Niall said kissing the top of my head.
"Alright I'm just going to say this. I have thought about this, I think this is a good time to say this. So I'm just going to say it. I don't know if it is too soon, but I feel like it should be said now not knowing what's going to happen and like what's going on and everything." I was talking very fast but then Niall interrupted me.
"Niall, I love you I really do. I'm not in love with you yet, but I defiantly love you as a person. I know it's only been three months, but you mean everything to me."
"You don't know how long I've been waiting for you to feel the same way. I love you too Lisamarie. I feel like we will fall in love eventually. We're going to be together for a while, I know it."
"Yeah!" He bent down to kiss me.
"I'm so happy this was said. I was so nervous to tell you."
"Never be nervous about telling me your feelings babe."
"Well now I know not to be!" I said yawning.
"Alright, I think it's time you got some more rest."
I snuggled into Niall and made sure one of my hands were still holding onto him tightly. But I felt my grip loosen as I fell into a deeper sleep. I could feel Niall rubbing my arms and kissing the top of my head. He was so sweet. I could defiantly see myself falling in love with this guy. Maybe even marrying him? Who knows what the future holds. I would just like to get out of Ireland alive for now.
