2 days and I'm back to school. Greatttt, eurgh. Dad doesn't come back for another two weeks. I can't wait to see him, I miss him so much. Me and Noah decided to go shopping for school crap.
Walking through town with Noah, squeezing his hand felt so good. I'm normally the loner that everyone startes at awkwardly and tries to stay away from. For the first time ever, I actually felt confident. Like I could fly.
Noah and I were sat in Costa having coffee. It was the cute-cringy couple thing, talking and giggling together in the back of a coffee shop. Squeezing eachother's hand underneath the table.
"Jordan?" Noah said, gulping down him coffee.
"Mhmm?" I replied.
"Well, I've been thinking a lot recently, and I just wanted to say I-" he was interupted my the bell ringing, sounding someone coming into the cafe. We both looked at the door and gasped. It was Garraint and Lucy with Ellis and Josh, just some kids in school.
Noah turned to me and looked at me as if to say 'come on, let's go!' I nodded. We both put our hoods up, looked down and sped out of the cafe door. Just as we stepped outside,
"Well look who it is! Noah and Jordan!" Garraint hissed. He put emphasis on my name and glared at me. Noah tugged at my hand and we started speeding away. We could hear footsteps coming behind us, and Garraint's growl. We gradually turned into a run. We reached a brick wall on the edge of the local park. We hid behind it and panted. Thinking we lost them, we stopped. Suddenly a cruel laugh echoed behind us.
Noah opened his mouth to shout when Garraint stepped forward and shoved me, hard. I fell to the floor, landing on my arm. I screamed in agony.
"Jordan!" Noah ran to me when Garraint pushed him back.
Garraint stepped forward to me. I was still rolling on the groud, tears streaming down my face from the pain in my arm. He took a step closer and kicked me in the stomach. It hurt to much to make sound. I hunched my back and pulled my knees to my chest. Everytime I moved I heard a crunching noise coming from my torso. It felt like someone had ripped my heart from my chest!
Suddenly I felt someone hit the ground. I prayed it wasn't Noah. I turned over agonisingly. It was Garraint. He had his hands over his head and there was a huge red mark on his face. Someone came up and started kicking him and throwing punches. It was Noah. He stepped back, nearly stepping on my arm. I screamed in pain and fright. He suddenly remembered I was there and turned to me. He lay down, and picked my up, carefully. Garraint was still lying on the floor. He carefully yet hastily started running away.
Next thing I knew I was in a white room with doctors and nurses staring down at me.
