"You ready Maria?" I yelled up the stairs.
2 weeks had passed since I asked Maria if she wanted to come to London with me, and today we were leaving.
"Almost" she called down.
In that moment, she came down the stairs with a small green, and white spotted suitcase. On her back was a cute floral, green backpack.
I ran up to her and took her suitcase off her and carried it over to the boot of the car. She said bye to her parents, and joined me in the back seat of the car.
"Excited?" She asked me. "Nervous." I answered.
"Don't worry, they will love you." She smiled at me.
"I hope so," I replied.
"And if they don't, I will make them," she said seriously.
"And how will you make them do that?" I asked
"I will steal all their food," she laughed.
"Oh your evil" I laughed.
"I know," she laughed in reply.
We arrived at the airport, and got a trolley for our things. We then entered the airport and went and checked in, we dropped our bags off too.
After our bags were dropped off, we went to go get food. Yes I know what your thinking. NANDOS!!
Once eaten, we went to board the plane, it took an hour, but we eventually got on. Mom sat behind us with two seats to herself, and me and Maria sat together.
I had the window seat, and she had the aisle seat, she didn't mind though.
"Attention passengers, we are about to take off, please ensure that your seat belts are fastened and all bags are either in the over head compartments, or under your seat. The flight will last 3 hours, so relax, sit back and enjoy the flight." The flight attendant said through the speaker phone thing.
"Lets get this show on the road" she said.
"Air, actually" I corrected. We looked at each other and burst out laughing. God, I loved her laugh.
10 minutes into the flight we were allowed to take our seat belts off. We also got told off for making too much noise.
"Bull shark!" She yelled.
She then looked at me, and we both started laughing again. In controllable.
"I love you" I said. And this time, I meant it!
She smiled at me with her brown eyes sparkling. Our eyes met.
We leaned in close, our noses touching. We took a small breath and let our lips touch.
I felt like I was floating. It's cliche, but true.
