“Guess who?” I heard someone whisper in my ear. I knew right away it was Ty, but I wanted to mess with him a little bit. I rambled off about 5 or 6 names before actually saying his. He turned me around and I wrapped my arms around his neck and gave him the biggest hug!
“I’ve missed you so much!” I said excitedly.
“I missed you too,” he replied softly as he pecked me on the lips. Ty was a big guy. Very tan skin with short brown hair and hazel eyes. He played football, basketball and was the student body president. He was also 6’2” and with me being about 5’9” it made it the perfect height different for hugs and stuff.
As we pulled apart, he reached into his backpack. “And this,” he said as he pulled out something from his backpack. “Is for you,” he said with a smile on his face. It was a box that was about one foot in length and an inch in width that was wrapped in red wrapping paper that was covered in pink and white hearts.
“Aww Ty you shouldn’t have!” I said while grabbing the box from him.
“Happy 2 years babe!” He said as he gave me a kiss on the cheek.
“Oh gag me,” I hear Shayne say as she closed her locker. Whoops forget she was still here. “I’m going to go find Carly. See ya at lunch Payse.”
“See ya Shay.” I said the diverted my attention back to Ty. “Listen.. I was going to get-“ suddenly I was cut off.
“I know I know. California was pretty hectic. It’s all right. No worries! Really! We can celebrate again tomorrow or something when you are ready. K?” This is exactly why I loved him. He was so understanding of everything. “Now, you need to open your present!” He was way too excited about this. What a cutie!
“Ok ok calm down!” I ripped off the wrapping to uncover a black velvet box from Tiffany and Co. I opened it to reveal a silver, charm, toggle lock bracelet with one silver heart on the end. Engraved into the heart was ‘Ty and Paysen Forever <3’
“Wow…. It’s so beautiful! Thank you so much Ty! I love you so much! Will you help me put it on?” I could not take my eyes off of it. It was the most gorgeous thing that I have ever seen in my entire life. It must have cost him a fortune!
“Beautiful bracelet for a beautiful girl. You deserve it, Paysen. You’re so amazing,” he said as he put the bracelet on me. He gave me one last kiss before the bell rang for school to start. “I better get going. Can’t be late. Mr. Hoskins is pretty crazy about tardy’s. I’ll talk to you after school.”
“K see you,” I said as I closed my locker and started walking to my first period class.
