4. Your Voice
I looked into those brown eyes, just as i had done when taking his order. He just smiled at me and sat next to me on the bench. "Don't let me stop you, you're really good." I could feel my cheeks starting to burn. And I looked away. "Thanks. Me and my dad, we use to play this song all the time. It was his favorite." "I can see why, its a great song." I nooded in agreement, and just sat there in silence for a few seconds. "I was actually trying to find the rest room.." He finnaly said. I jumped up off the bench and started walking towards the stairs. "Well first, there downstairs."He ran his fingers through his thick hair, and streched. He started following me. I pointed to where they were and then quickly ran to the kitchen. I cannot believe that Zayn from One Direction just heard me sing, and on top of that, he thought I was good! I had a feeling that maybe, just maybe, this could be a good night.
Hearing her voice reminded me so much of myself when I auditioned for X Factor. It was so young and innocent, but she knew she was good. She was a little nervous when she realized I was listening, but watching her cute little cheeks fliar up like that was worth it. Her voice, it sounded like an angel's. And I couldn't let it go. I went back up stairs to see if she had gone back up there, but she was gone. I sat down on the bench and just sat there. I noticed a little red notebook with pictures of musical notes on it. Being the person I am, I opened it. These were really good lyrics. I could almost hear her amazing voice belching the lyrics out on the radio. The whole note book was filled. But one song in particular caught my eye. 'The father daughter dance' I read it and instantly fell in love with the song. 'I fall onto the dancefloor and watch the music take you away, cry myself to sleep every night. I watch the clouds in the midnight sky, dance around my head, i'l never ever forget...' I heard a noise downstairs so i slipped the notebook into my jacket, zipped it up, and went downstairs. "FOOOOOOOOOOOD" I heard a very familar irish accent say. I sat down and looked at the massive burger that was in front of me. I needed her to show the guys what she was capable of, but I knew I had to make her comfortable first. "Hey Niall, you should go get your guitar." I whispered over to him. He was already half way through his burger. "Food first. Music second." The whole table errupted in laughter. "Well, if you guys need anything, just let me know." She flashed her teeth to the table and I smiled back at her. There was something she could do for me. "Actually, if you dont mind babe, could you sit here and talk to us? We rarley ever get to talk to someone normal." Harry perked up. "Yeah, they usually are screaming our names, asking us to marry them or they want my gravy." Then he went back to eating. Louis looked over at Harry. "But Harold, every one wants your gravy." We all laughed. Then looked back at Amber. "I guess I could sit with you guys for a bit."
We talked for what felt like forever, but in reality it had only been half an hour. Donnie was telling us all that we needed to get ready to go to the party. Our after party. We were on our way there, until we got hungry. The boys stood up thanking Amber for the meal, and saying goodbyes, but I didn't want to say goodbye.
