I followed Martin to his car. He opened my side of the door, and closed it after I got in. The seats were nice and cosy. Martin got in the other side, and started the engine.
'You got a favourite cd?' He asked me, motioning to the huge pile of cd's in a box, that he has just plonked on my knee from the backseat.
'That's a big collection for a car, I love music as well though!' I exclaimed. He smiled, as I rummaged around in the box, and found a Jessie J CD.
'Good choice!' He said. It only took about fifteen minutes to get to Nando's, and in that time, we only really sang along to Jessie. I was surprised that he knew all of the words. When we arrived, he opened my car door for me again. We went inside, and the waitor escorted us to a reserved table.
'You've been to Nando's before right?' Martin asked me.
'Yeah, I love chicken, I always get the chicken wrap in medium!' I replied. 'I'll go order it for you then!' Martin said, standing up.
'You don't have to, I can order it!' I argued back.
'Abi, I brought you here, I'm buying the food.' He said, with a strict voice. The look that he had on his face just made me burst out laughing.
'Okay, okay, you win, I'll buy us some drinks tonight then?' I said, but he just shook his head at me and shouted 'Never!'
The food, as it always is, was amazing. I dared Martin to try some extra extra hot sauce, and his face went bright red, and he couldn't talk for a few minutes. After we'd both finished, Martin led me outside, and back to the car.
'I'm not going to drink tonight, I need to drive us back.' Martin told me.
I nodded, I don't particularly want to be involved in a car crash. We pulled up outside the club, and all the flashing lights that I could see from the inside scared me a little bit. I bit my lip, and tried to hide it. I stood up straight, pushed my shoulders back, and walked towards the glass door. Martin opened the door for me, and the music just washed over me, like a wave. I was submerged in what sounded Katy Perry, but a remixed version. I grinned, I hadn't been clubbing in a while, and I did miss it. But I also did like to just stay inside and snuggle up with my bestfriends and watch disney movies. Tangled is my current favourite. I'd normally be looking around for cute guys, but I was with Martin. With his short brown hair, and chiseled jaw, he was the cutest in the club anyway. I looked up at him, and was instantly lost in his eyes again. He gave me a shy smile, and put his hand on my shoulder, and walked me down the stairs onto the main dance floor.
A new song came on, which was really upbeat and fast. I moved away from Martin and started dancing. Weaving in and out of people, with him following me, trying to keep up. He soon lost me, and I moved to the edge, still trying to keep up with the beat, so it wouldn't be obvious where I was. I sat on some chairs on the edge, and watched him spinning around, trying to find me. I smiled to myself, and ordered myself a drink from the bar. Even from this position I could see that Martin was rubbish at dancing. He was trying to look casual while searching for me, and was bobbing up and down in the same spot. I giggled, and wondered why he brought me to a club if he couldn't dance. I had a couple of sips, before giving up on drinking. If he wasn't, then I wasn't. I danced back into the crowd, keeping an eye on Martin the whole time, so he wouldn't see me. I slowly moved into the middle, and danced around behind him, moving so every time he looked, I was still behind him. I suddenly contain my laughter any more, and let out a really loud giggle. He spun around, and his face sighed in relief. I kept on smiling, and moved closer towards him.
At this point, the DJ decided to play a slow song. Perfect timing, this DJ was good. I ran my fingers through my hair, twisting it round my finger. I bit my lip, and then wrapped my arms around his neck. He looked surprised, but happy, and he put his hand on my waist, as we slowly danced together around the dance floor. I got lost yet again in his eyes, and he was staring into mine, breathing fast. This was fun.
Every move made us step closer to each other, until we were pressed against each other. He still smelt of lynx. I could feel the sparks flying between us, and I knew that he felt them to. I could see it in his eyes. The music suddenly switched back to fast. We broke apart, and just danced away for the rest of the night.
After a few hours, my head was dizzy from the music, and my feet hurt. I told Martin, and he instantly decided to take me home. He dropped me off at home, and led me to my front door. I gave him a hug, and felt the sparks again, and he gave me another kiss on the cheek.
'I'll text you?' He asked me, almost nervously.
'Please do' I replied, and I blew him a kiss, and shut the door.
