"Rue, is Harry okay?" asked Louis who was standing beside me and asked me in a quite voice so no one would hear. It was around 11 at night and we were still bowling. We'd been having an okay night. Harry and I were still acting couply but we seemed distant. Like we were next to each other physically but mentally on different planets.
"I don't even know, to be honest with you."
"He's probably just tired. I'll talk to him about it later."
I smiled and nodded my head and he got up to go and bowl. Harry had just returned and was sitting next to me. Me, being the proding person I was, scooted over to him and poked him in the side. He looked down at me and smiled. "Why did you just poke me?"
"Because... You seem angry or sad or something... What's wrong?"
"Nothing, babe. I'm just really tired."
I looked at him and gave him the 'I don't believe that one bit' look. "Rue, I'm fine, I promise. I talked to my mom earlier today. She said she wants to meet you soon."
My eyes got really big, I hadn't even thought about meeting his family... Or him meeting mine. "How soon is soon?"
Harry shrugged his shoulders. "Dunno, I was thinking we drive up there next Friday and stay there for the weekend?"
My eyes were still a bit too big for my head and Harry kept laughing at me. He looked really amazing tonight. He had on a navy longsleeve that was unbuttoned at the top and sleeves pulled up and he had major bed head, but he pulled it off well. He had on dark wash denim and a pair of black converse.
"It's not funny, Harry! Stop laughing at me!" I said, even though I was laughing as well.
"Says the one who is laughing too!"
"That's cause your making me laugh!"
"Yeah, I tend to have that affect on the ladies." He said as he slid his hand into his hair and shook his head.
"You're so full of yourself sometimes, you know!" I said between laughs.
"You know you love it!"
"Whatever puts you to sleep!"
I had just remebered the whole dinner thing that I promised I'd set up for the girls. "That reminds me, on Saturday, are you doing anything?"
"Not that I know of, why?"
"Because, all of the girls want to meet you and see if they 'approve' of you," I said, adding in the quotations around approve.
"Alright... What time?"
"About 6. I'll pick you up."
Harry didn't reply, he just nodded. I snuggled up next to him and his arm slid over my body like it was second nature to him. Regaurdless of the things that had happened earlier, we were happy. We fit together perfectly. Like two puzzle pieces.
We sat in a comfortable silence until Harry spoke up. "You left your phone charger and some kind of perfume that smells really quite amazing at my place, you know."
I sighed in content and replied. "Yeah. I have a spare one at my house so I didn't want to bother you about it."
"It's fine, you don't bother me."
We sat in silence, well, silence for us. Everyone else was rowdy and loud. I couldn't help but notice how mellow we were apart from everyone.
Why did everything with him have to be so... Wonderful?"
Sorry, it's a short chapter! I have loads of homework, so it's short!
