"Rue, it's time to wake up." I opened my eyes and felt a pair of arms still wrapped around me and I instantly smilied because I knew who they belonged to.
"This bed is just too comfortable. Why can't I just move here? Onto this bed?" I asked him as I turned my body to face his own.
"Because this is my families home so I think they'd be a little shocked to come into my room one day and see a tiny person laying in my bed!" He replied. We both began laughing but it soon died down.
"What time is it anyway?"
Harry reached his arm that was already draped over me out further to grab his phone. "About 9:30. Mum wanted us to be up by 10 this morning so I set an alarm. She won't tell me what we're doing, though. Probably just going around Holmes Chapel and showing you around. Which reminds me, later I wanted to take you to the old bakery I use to work at! You'll love it there! It's quiet and little and it always smelt so wonderful! I can't wait to show you!"
Harry was acting like an eager little child and since I had just woken up and I wasn't much of a morning person I just laughed at him and nodded my head. He continued to tell me all the things that he planned on showing me, things like his old school, old 'hang out' spot, and introduce me to some of the friends he still talked to.
Evetually, Anne had come to tell us to start getting ready and that we were going to go out to eat for breakfast that morning. It wasn't the first time that I'd woken up next to Harry and had a morning chat, in fact, we did that more often than you'd think, but this morning it felt different... More comfortable, maybe? It was the first day that I'd woken up and be able to claim that I was 'Harry's Girl' so maybe that loving background that we now had all the time and it wasn't fake now. It was real. No more lies and no more faking it all and, best part, no more telling myself no. I can say yes all I want now.
I was already ready, it normally takes me about ten minutes since I don't wear too much make up and my hair is naturally straight so I never mess with it. Harry on the other hand, he took forever to get ready! I don't know if it's the curls or what, but he took a good half an hour longer than I did.
I was sitting on the bed when I yelled to Harry, who was in the bathroom taking a shower, that I was going to go outside to call all the girls. He yelled back a simple 'okay' then added in 'can you hand me my pants? I seem to have forgotten them.'
So, I handed him his pants and walked down the stairs, said a 'hello' to Anne, and walked out the back door and sat in one of the patio chairs in the fenced in back yard. England was so beautiful during the fall. It was October now, my favorite month because it's the middle of fall, which is my favorite season. There was a breeze that wasn't too cold and everything around was just so festive and happy looking, which was good when you're someone like me. Everyone needs a little happiness in there life. Mine was the beautiful fall weather and then, of course, Harry.
I felt my phone vibrate, reminding me of the whole reason that I had come outside. My face lit up into a smile when I saw that it was Lauryn who was calling me. "Hello?"
"Rue! It's been forever since we last talked! A whole day! New record!"
I laughed because she was right. We normally talked at least twice a day, we called each other when we were bored. Which was a lot. "I know! How was practice today?"
"Boring of course! I didn't have my vault buddy with me! How's Harry's family? Are they all like some kind of clone of Harry? 'Cause that'd be COOL!"
"I'm sorry I wasn't there then! And no, they aren't clones! They are all really nice, they seem to like me. I've only been around them for around an hour total so I don't want to make any assumptions. We're going somewhere today, Anne won't tell either of us where yet. Harry wants to take me around Holmes Chapel later today, probably around 5."
"Aw! You two are just so cute together! How long have you two been together now?"
"I'm not sure? What's the date?"
"10th of October."
"Then todays our three month anniversary. That's a surprise. Well, I gotta go! I have to call all the other girls. I'll text you later though!"
"Okay. Can't wait to hear about everything when you get back! Bye Rue-Rue!"
I hung up the phone and dialed Madelyn's number, then Kaylyn's number, and then Darcy's. All the conversations were the same. Except for Darcy's. I told her all of the new 'event's' that had recently happened, and to my surprise, she was thrilled with it. I knew she'd be happy, but I expected to hear a lecture on 'Rue, don't fall too hard for him. You know you've got a timeline' kind of thing.
From behind, I heard the glass door open from behind me but I knew who it was so I didn't bother turning around. I was already off the phone with everyone, now I was just sitting in the chair with my legs crossed and absorbing the sun that rarely made an appearance in England and the breeze that was comforting. I wasn't cold, even though I was wearing jeans and a nice tank top. I felt two warm hand come behind me and grasp my shoulders and then I felt a pair of lips on mine while curly hair was in my face. Everytime that I had kissed Harry it had always felt, as cliche as it sounds, magical. Like we were the only people in the world and nothing and no one else mattered.
"I can't believe you just spiderman kissed me!" I said when he let go of my face and sat in my lap. Instead of choosing chair right beside me, he had to pick sitting on top of me. At least he doesn't weigh too much?
"I've always wanted to do that and I knew you wouldn't mind! Can't blame a man for going for the goods!"
I gave a snort of laughter at my boyfriends ridiculousness. It was werid to think that, my boyfriend. I loved it though.
"Do you know what today is? If not then it's fine, honestly, I forgot it myself until I realised the date." I asked with genuine curiousity.
"Of course I do. Happy 3 months, love! I didn't want to say anything unless you asked about it. We have to do something tonight, go to a movie or something? We'll figure it out later. Now, we have to go to breakfast!"
Harry stood up from my body and pulled me to my feet. He slung his arm around me and we walked back inside the warmer house. I was starting to get excited for what today had in store now!
