4. Getting out of here
"Who is this?" he said. I could tell he had been asleep. "Hey, um it's Rachel. I meet you at your concert." I said still crying. "Oh, hey. Are you crying? Is something wrong?" "Yeah. It's just that my family hates me and treats me like crap." I said. "Do you live here in London?" he asked. "Yeah why?" I replied confused. "Meet me at Abney Park." he said. "Ok." And he hung up. I sat there and thought of how I can sneak out of here. I decided how and got my phone and my wallet. I didn't want to come back here. I got a small bag and put a pair of clothes in there. I left a note to my mom saying how I really thought about her and how I am never coming back. I left it on the bed and jumped out of the window and ran to Adney Park, never looking back, knowing that they never cared about me. I started crying, because of the pain, because of my mom, and because I knew my mom was a good person when I was younger. But now she is a drunk drugatic who loses all her money gambling. I finally get to Abney Park and sat at a bench waiting for Louis. I was still crying, thinking about the past. I look up and Louis is standing in front of me. His eyes widen when he sees my black eye, my bloody nose, and me crying, making my makeup smear. He sits by me and hugs me and asks me what happened. I told him everything, about my mom and her boyfriend, how I'm running away, and about my past. He doesn't interrupt me, he listens to me, word for word. "I'm so sorry, I don't know what to say to make you feel better." he says. I nod, knowing he can't really do anything to help. He sits there still holding me in his arms when he pulls away and looks me in the eyes. "You can stay with me for a while till you figure things out." he says with a smile on his face. "Are you sure?" I ask, knowing he is really famous and probably doesn't have time for an emotionally unstable 17 year old girl. "I'm positive!" I sit there and think about and finally answer, "Yes."
