64. Forever and Always
*ITS THE WEDDING DAY MANY MONTHS LATER* I sat in my pearl white wedding dress, getting my hair done. My dress, a mermaid style dress, shimmered with the jewels on the top. My hair, perfectly up in a classic up do. My brides maids, Perrie, Danielle, and Kristen, and my maid of honor, Amber, sat in the room with me. Johanna and Angela were both helping my hair stylist and makeup artist. Our flower girls are Lyric and Melody, wearing light yellow, matching our wedding colors, were sitting getting their hair done as well. Kristen had her baby, a little girl named Symphony, was born three moths ago. Louis and his grooms men, Liam, Niall, and Zayn, and his best man, Harry, sat in the other room getting ready. We decided to keep the tradition of the groom can't see the bride before the wedding. Everything was perfect. Ll of our friends and family were sitting out in the church, waiting to see us say 'I do'. I stood up and looked at myself in the full body mirror. I smiled at what I saw, a happy girl on her wedding day. My dress was gorgeous, my hair was stunning, and best of all, the smile on my face was real. My dad walked in. He stopped and stared at me, smiling and almost in tears, "You look beautiful, Rachel." I smiled at my dads reaction, "Thanks daddy." I walked over and hugged him. He started crying, tears of joy. I wiped his tear that was rolling down his cheek with my thumb, "Daddy, this is not a good time to cry, we don't need you to have puffy eyes at my wedding." He laughed, "I know sweetheart. You just look so beautiful." I kissed his cheek, "Thanks dad." Just then, the wedding planner walked in, "It's time everyone! I need everyone that isn't in the bridal party to leave and I need everyone else to line up." Johanna, Angela, and Louis' sisters kissed me goodbye and went into the church. We all got in line up order, flower girls, brides maids, and then bride and her father. We started going. I took a deep breath. First the twins walked out, tossing yellow rose petals on the aisle. After them, Amber and Harry walked out. Then, Liam and Danielle followed. After, Zayn and Perrie walked out. Then, Niall and Kristen followed, leaving me and my dad alone. I heard the 'Here comes the bride' tone and my heart stopped. I tightened my grip on my dad's arm. He laughed, "Don't worry." We finally walked out, taking slow footsteps. Everyone was standing and watching us walk up. I saw many familiar faces, but my eyes soon shot up to Louis. He's smile from ear to ear, his eyes shining, and his eyes on me. He looked amazing. I wanted to just run up there, but my dad held me back. We got to the alter, finally. My dad kissed my cheek and gave my hand in marriage. I stood in front of Louis, both of us holding each others hands. The priest said a few words, a outing marriage and love. Me and Louis' eyes never leaving sight of each other. A tear rolled down my cheek. The priest turned to Louis, "Louis, do you take Rachel as your wedded wife? Will you love her, comfort her, honor her, and keep her through sickness and health and through thick and thin for as long as you both shall live?" Louis smiled at me, "I do." The priest turned to me, "Rachel, will you take Louis as your wedded husband? Will you love him, comfort him, honor him, and keep him through sickness and health and through thick and thin as long as you both shall live?" I smiled at Louis, "I do." We turned toward each other again. The priest turned to Louis, "Repeat what I say, I Louis, take Rachel to by my wedded wife." Louis repeated, "I Louis, take Rachel to be my wedded wife." The priest continued, "To have and to hold, for better or for worse, for richer or poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death do us part." Louis repeated, "To have and to hold, for better or for worse, for richer or poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death do us part." When he finished, he had tears forming in his eyes. The priest turned to me, " Repeat what I say, I Rachel, take Louis to by my wedded husband." I repeated, "I Rachel, take Louis to be my wedded husband." The priest continued, "To have and to hold, for better or for worse, for richer or poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death do us part." I repeated, "To have and to hold, for better or for worse, for richer or poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death do us part." I started crying, tears of joy. The priest handed us the rings. Louis placed the ring on my finger. I smiled at the ring, and then at Louis. I took the ring and placed it on Louis' finger. We smiled at each other, both in tears. The priest turned to us and smiled, "Louis and Rachel, I now pronounce you, husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride." Louis took me in his arms and passionately kissed me. While we kissed, the whole church broke out in applause and cheers. I could hear the boys wolf whistle, but I didn't care. We pulled away and smiled at each other, then took each other in each other's arms. We walked down the aisle, holding hands and waving. We exited and went into the reception. We cut the enormous cake together and had glasses of champagne. Everyone came up to us and congratulated us. We both held Stella and played with her. Our song, I Won't Give Up by Jason Mraz, came on. Louis lead me out to the dance floor and we slow danced. I placed my arms around his shoulders while he placed his hands on my waist. He whispered into my ear, "We're finally married." I smiled, "Finally." He chuckled, "I love you, I always have and I always will, Rachel Ann Tomlinson." I smiled at him, "I love you, I forever will, Louis William Tomlinson." He leaned in and kissed me. I am now Mrs. Rachel Ann Tomlinson. I will always love Louis, forever and always. Wow, we had such a roller coaster of a love story, ending with a bang.
