3. Best day to the worst

When Amber was driving me home she keep talking about Louis and me but I didn't listen. I was thinking about him. How he gave me his number not anyone else. How he thinks I'm beautiful. How he didn't give Amber the time of day. Amber interrupted me again. "Did you hear me, Rachel?" "What?" I asked. "I asked if you are going to call Louis?" she asked. I sat there for a moment thinking about it. I didn't know if I was going to call him. Thinking about it made me happy. "I don't know yet." I said. "Isn't he dating Eleanor?" Amber asked. Ugh! When she said that it made me tell myself that he doesn't like me like how I like him. We pulled up to my mom's house. I got in the house and I see my mom with a cigarette in her hand and a couple of her friends over and all of them were drunk. My mom looked at me disgustedly and said "What the hell are you doing here?" I ignored her and walked off. Her boyfriend walked in front of me and started yelling at me about how I'm "late" even though I told them about the concert. I got mad and tried to walk away but he grabbed my arm and punched me in the eye. I was in so much pain. My mom was sitting there laughing at me. God I hate her. "Rachel bring me my whiskey!" she said. I grabbed the whiskey and threw the bottle at the wall. My mom looked at me and slapped me, giving me a bloody nose. I ran into my room crying my eyes out. I heard them in there laughing about me. This wasn't the first time this has happened. Ever since my dad left us she started getting worse. But tonight I have had enough. I picked my phone and called. "Hello?" they said. "Louis?"
