3. Two Deaths

By: JDNS

Mourn I did,
But the morn awaited.
Death be asunder?
Though the more to wonder.

The mind as black as your own grave,
Is there, could there be, a sign to the brave?

The bold look not unto such things,
Their eyes be busied, as though Kings.

Look away the soul cryeth, look away, look away.
But to no avail the man seeketh and is found astray.

Mourn I did,
But the morn grew prosper.
Mourn I sought again,
Not, did I, not, for the morn be of prosper.
