1. Brittany's Perspective
Today was the day. I finally had enough money to buy the Fendi bag I had been wanting for almost a year now. I called Tina, my best friend since second grade, also my roomie, to tell her I was on my way home from the coffee shop, which I worked at, to come pick her up to get the bag. "Tina?" "Yeah Britt, what's up?" "I'm on my way to pick you up. Bring my navy blazer out to the car, and also, where something nice." I could tell that Tina was smiling through the phone, knowing I had just got my paycheck. The last one until I got my Fendi bag. "Alright, honk when you get here." "Ok, see you in a few." I hung up and put my phone in my purse. I picked Tina up and she threw my blazer in my lap and buckled her seatbelt. "Oooo, Eiffel Tower shirt, good choice." Tina complemented me. "Thanks, says the lady in the gorg maxi dress." I played back. We pulled up to the Fendi store on Rodeo drive and got out of the car. My hair was in a top knot and Tina's was down and curled. I felt like we were both wearing the perfect outfits and everything. I was too excited. I pulled open the Fendi store's door and looked inside with amazement. I steered left to look at something and then turned around to go find the bag I wanted, when I knocked into somebody. "Oh, sorry, excuse me." "It's alright." The dreamy british-accent boy said. I took a long glance at him and smiled. He smiled back, and I turned away, embarrassed. 'I'm not so smooth'. I thought. I went to go find the bag. I asked the sales person to ring me up and to take the bag out of the case. FINALLY, THE BAG WAS FINALLY MINE! I went home and climbed into bed. My comforter seemed soft for the first time and my apartment didn't feel so crappy. It was a good day.
