"Should we go and wake her up?" Was the first thing Julianna heard that morning.
"No, she's probably jet lagged and tired" Another voice said.
"But it's already eleven" One person said.
She groaned, and slowly opened her eyes, to see five familiar boys standing around her bed. "What the hell are you doing in my room?" She asked, angrily. "You're spending the with us, love. We're taking you to lunch and then laser tag" Harry said happily.
"Really?" She groaned, and they nodded. "Yes, really. Now c'mon, get up!" Louis grinned, and she slowly sat up. "If I say I'll get ready, will you guys get out of my room?" She asked, staring at them. "Of course, we'll leave you to it then" Liam said, dragging the boys out of her room.
Julianna frowned, and got out of bed. She looked at herself in the mirror, and grimaced. Her hair was up in a tangled bun, and her complexion was pale. She knew she needed sun, but she also knew given her luck, she'd never get any.
She brushed out her blonde locks, and quickly pulled them back into a ponytail before changing into a fake leather shorts, and tucking her jean short-sleeved shirt into them. She slipped on a pair of sneakers, and grabbed her purse before walking downstairs.
"That was fast" Harry said, with an expression on his face that read 'Not bad'. Julianna rolled her eyes at him, and scowled slightly. "It was a compliment" He threw his hands up in defence, and she ignored him.
"Right, let's go" Liam said, and they all walked to the garage. "We only have five seats. I guess you'll have to sit on someone's lap" Harry winked at her, and she scowled back at him, once again.
"Isn't that kind of illegal?" She hissed. "From the looks of things, you'd know all about illegal" Zayn mumbled, and she rolled her eyes. "Whatever" She said, following them into the car. She sat on the nearest lap which happened to belong to Niall.
Although the car ride was only at the most ten minutes, and the boy spent the time cracking jokes, but to Julianna, it felt long and dull. Soon they were at their first location: A restaurant she had never heard of called Nando's.
They all filed out of the car, and into the restaurant quickly, hoping not to be seen. "Hello and welcome to- Oh my! It's weird enough seeing One Direction, but Julianna?" The hostess said, looking astounded, "What are you doing in London?" she asked, and Julianna frowned once again.
"Vacation" She muttered. "Wow. Oh! Sorry, let me take you to your table" She smiled widely, and gestured for them to follow her to the back. "Your waitress will be with you shortly" She smiled, and left them to get seated.
The lunch was awfully loud for Julianna's taste. She just wanted to get to laser tag, and then back to the house. She sat on Niall's lap once again for the ride, and soon they were in front of the laser tag, and arcade place.
They put in their usernames, Julianna using JulesMcCoy, Liam's being DaddyDirection, Harry's simply being Hazz, Louis being Superman, Zayn's being Quiff, due to Louis getting a hold of his keyboard, and Niall's being Food.
They were all split into teams, Niall, Liam and Julianna were on team red, while Harry, Louis and Zayn were put on team blue. The got their guns, and were sent into the arena, were the went to there sides, and were explained the rule of the game.
Julianna tapped her foot the whole entire time, rolling her eyes now and then, and soon enough it was time to start. They charged there guns, and went off to score points for their side. Julianna found a spot where she couldn't been seen, and every once in a while would shoot someone on the blue team.
Soon the game was over, and they six of them regrouped. "Did you have fun?" Liam asked, and Julianna raised her eyebrows, before shaking her head. "Can we go back to the house now?" She asked, and Louis shook his head. "No, first we're going to the arcade!" He said excitedly.
Julianna rolled her eyes, but followed anyway, knowing they were her only way of getting back to the house.
They entered the arcade room, and went to get tokens, but Julianna just stood there. About five minutes later, Niall showed up beside her, and handed her a small plastic cup filled with gold coloured coins. "Your tokens" He smiled, and she looked at the cup. "Thanks" She muttered insincerely.
"No problem" He grinned, oblivious to the fact that she hadn't meant what she had said. "Right" She mumbled, walking away. She looked around for something easy to waste her coins on.
She found a skeeball machine, and decided to play that for the time being. She put in two coins, and got her nine skeeballs. She started throwing a few, getting a couple in the twenty thousand, and one in the thirty thousand, when someone came up from behind her, chuckling. "Babe, that's not how you throw it" A deep British accent wrung out.
It was unfamiliar to her, so she turned to meet two hard grey eyes. Those eyes she soon learned belonged to a tall, brunette guy. He was handsome, but not in a good way, if that's possible, and Julianna didn't want to talk to him.
"Oh really? And just what do you think gives you the right to call me babe?" She asked, raising her eyebrow. "Oh, American" He licked his lips, and took a step towards her. She took a few steps backwards, her back now against the wall, and he chuckled again. The guy was starting to creep her out, although she tried not to show it.
"Just let me show you how to do it" His hot breath hit her ear, and she cringed, trying to push him away. "How about you don't" She replied quietly, squirming against his chest.
"Julianna? What's going on?" She heard Niall's voice, and breathed a quiet sigh of relief. "Who the hell are you?" The brunette asked, not letting go of Julianna. "I should be asking you the same question" Niall scoffed, looking at him. "How about you leave me and the blonde here alone, alright?" The brunette asked, and Julianna shivered.
"How about you get the fuck away from her" Niall growled, and the brunette grimaced, letting Julianna go. "What did you say, pretty boy?" He asked, angrily. "Get the fuck away from her" Niall repeated, and the brunette scoffed.
"Right. And what are you going to do about it?" The brunette asked, walking towards Niall. Julianna was still cowered against the wall, surprisingly still nervous. Liam and Zayn were now standing behind Niall, although Harry and Louis were still no where to be seen.
"If you leave now, you won't have to find out" Niall said, the brunette standing right in front of him. The brunette chuckled awfully once again, and shook his head "Whatever" He muttered, walking back towards Julianna.
Niall put a hand on his shoulder, spun him around, and punched him, causing his nose to gave a small cracking sound. "Shit!" The brunette gasped, and clutched his nose, "You know what? Whatever, you're not even worth it" he growled, and pushed past the group that now included Harry and Louis.
Niall walked over to Julianna, looking at her worriedly. "Are you alright, love?" Niall asked, before continuing, "What'd he do?". She shook her head. "Can we not talk about it?" She asked quietly, sounding slightly vulnerable. Niall nodded, and she looked down. Soon she felt arms around her, surprising her with a hug.
Julianna had never been good with hugs, so she awkwardly patted Niall's back, before he let go. They all began walking back outside when Julianna pulled Niall to the side, saying a word she never expected to say to any of the boys.
