50. chapter 49

We got up and walked out into the kitchen. Jake was looking at us and so was Michele. We were the only ones home. Dave was living with Austin too but he wasn’t there right now.

Jake: we’re leaving at 4pm Allie. So you have to have unpacked and found some clothes that you can use.

Allie: actually I was thinking if there was a forever 21 nearby because I need some new clothes.

Michele: I’ll take you to the mall. It’s like 15 minutes away in car.

Allie: thank you Michele. That really means a lot.

When we had finished lunch we drove out to the mall. It was about 1pm. There were so many people there. And about 5 people stopped me and asked me for my autograph. Michele helped me to pick out the perfect outfit for the show.

I stood inside a store and looked myself in the mirror. I didn’t know if I liked the clothes I had on or not. There was a woman who came up to us. She was working in the store.

Woman: you’re Allie Raff aren’t you?

Allie: yeah that’s me.

Woman: Mrs. Raff my daughter is a huge fan of you. Do you think you could sign this for her?

She handed out a piece of paper and I signed it.

Woman: thanks a lot. Can we get a picture so she knows that we’ve met?

Allie: sure?

Michele took a picture of me and the woman and then I walked back in and changed to my own clothes. When we were just about to pay the woman looked at me again. She found some really cool boots and asked me to try them on. I did. They were perfect for the show. I really loved them.

Woman: These clothes and the boots is a gift from me. Thank you for being such a good inspiration for my daughter.

Allie: OMG. Thank you very much. That’s so kind of you.

We drove back home and I changed into what I wanted to wear at the TV show. Jake wanted me to try on different outfits so I did. Austin laughed a bit when I ran in and out of the room to change different shirts and shoes and pants all the time.

As soon as we had found the clothes that I was going to wear we took off to the show. I loved the outfit they chose. We arrived at the studios and I walked a little around outside. I saw a flashlight and I knew that someone had taken a picture of me. I walked inside with Jake.

As soon as we were inside Ellen greeted me and we walked in and talked about what was going to happen on the show so I was a bit prepared.

Ellen: what an honor it is to meet you Allie.

Allie: It’s me who’s thanking. It’s a huge honor to be meeting someone like you.

Ellen: aren’t you just adorable… now come on let’s sit down and have some coffee.

We sat down somewhere and got some coffee even though I wasn’t drinking much of it.

Ellen: what I would like you to know is that you’re the only one who’s getting interview. Miley is only coming to perform with you. This is something you’ll have to do on your own so I really hope that you’re up for it.

Allie: of course, it’ll be awesome.

Ellen: Beside that don’t feel pressured to tell the audience something that you don’t want to say. I might ask something but that doesn’t mean that you have to answer it with a huge answer or something like that.

Allie: of course not.

Ellen: so are you ready?

Allie: I’ll try to be.

Ellen: You better go out and warm up with Miley she just arrived. You’re live in 20 minutes.

Allie: thank you.

I got up and was about to walk out to Miley when Jake stopped me.

Jake: Before you go out there, there’s something I need to tell you. Don’t tell them about Barry Weiss and give it everything you can. Don’t tell them about your single with Austin either. Let’s keep it down to earth for now.

Allie: of course.

Jake: and then kill it out there. Barry is going to be in the audience but don’t bring him to the stage it’s not something we wanna talk about yet.

Allie: understood.

Jake: good luck.

Allie: thank you.

I walked out to Miley and hugged her when I saw her. He seemed a bit tired.

Allie: are you okay?

Miley: yeah I’m just a bit tired really.

Allie: so are you going to be ready to sing our song?

Miley: of course! I love performing. I just need 2 minutes to wake up.

We warmed up a bit shortly after when Miley was ready to get started and before I knew about it we were standing on the stage and the spotlight came on.
