I pulled into the Princess Anne High School parking lot and got out of my car. The auditorium doors were always unlocked, so I just walked right in.
I went up the steps and onto the stage. I set my bag down on top of an amplifier and walked to the center of the stage.
I took a deep breath and let out what I've been keeping in for weeks now.
The day I first saw you
I knew you were the one
You would never come second to none
We were all good and fine
Then can the day when everything came crashing down
And what we used to have won't come back around
I opened my eyes just for a moment, and saw the unexpected.
"Louis." I whispered, "What are you doing here?" I asked, walking over to the amplifier to grab my things.
"That was beautiful." he said, so softly I could barely here it.
I ignored him and leapt off the stage.
"Was that meant towards us?" he asked, watching me the whole time.
I stopped. "I don't know, Lou. What do you think?"
He hesitated. "What do you want to go back to normal?"
"Hm let me think." I said sarcastically, "Well to sum it all up, you haven'y said a word to me since the fight, even though you knew I did absolutely NOTHING wrong." I stormed towards the door.
"Aubrey, please! I'm sorry!" he shouted, going after me.
I turned around. "No you're not." I said, quietly.
"Yes. I am." he answered.
"Then prove it." I said, crossing my arms.
He just stood there, thinking.
I rolled my eyes. "I knew it. You didn't mean it, did you? I'm done with this." I turned and stormed out the door, into the pouring rain.
Great. Now it's dark AND pouring. Just great.
I heard Louis running after me. In a metter of seconds, he had grabbed my hand and spun me around to face him. Then, he was kissing me.
He still had his hand wrapped around my wrist and his other hand was cupping my cheek.
I free hand was laying on his chest. He let go of my wrist and that hand laid on his chest as well. Both of his hands went to my waist and he picked me up.
We were both smiling into the kiss. We then pulled away. He didn't put me down.
"That song, Aubrey, was beautiful." he whispered.
"Thank you, Lou." I smiled. He smiled as well and we went to his car. We left my car in the parking lot and we drove to the hotel.
The whole ride there was sweet silence. My hand was holding onto his free hand.
We were both smiling.
My dream of having the PERFECT boyfriend, finally came true.
