“Where is Ally?!” I shouted down the phone. I was sweating and worried about my Ally. There I was fast asleep when I turned around, expecting to kiss my Ally’s forehead, when nothing was there. All I found was empty air. I needed to find her. Where did she go? Or even worse, could someone have taken her? No, no, no!
Niall’s stuttering brought me back to reality. “Well, I-I… S-she…” What was he trying to say? Why couldn’t he just tell me?
“Niall, just spit it out?! Do you know where Ally is?” I urged him.
I heard some shuffling on the other line and a lot of muttering voices. What was going on? “Er… n-no. I don’t know where Ally is? Sorry. ” There was something in his tone that was not right. Like he was lying to me.
“Niall, tell me the truth.” I said sternly. Why wouldn’t he just tell me?
“Well…” He sighed. “Ally is with us.” Relief hit me. Oh thank the lord, she is safe. Wait, she was safe right?
“Is she alright? What is she doing there? Why did she go?” I started firing questions at him. I needed to speak to her just once. I needed to hear her voice.
“Calm down. Ally is fine. In fact here she is right now.” Niall reassured. I heard some more shuffling on the other end and then the sweetest voice spoke.
“H-hello?” Ally mumbled.
“Ally! Why did you go?” I asked her. Why did she leave me? She knew very well it wasn’t safe for her. Then why? Why did she go?
“Er…” She struggled to say something. I know her too well.
“Ally, please just tell me.” I sighed. “You gave me and the lads a heart attack when I found you missing. I just want to know why. Especially in your condition; you should be looking after yourself. Why did you go off in the middle of the night all by yourself?” I asked. My voice was soft, to comfort her. The last thing I wanted was to hurt her.
“Li, I-I just wanted to…” She stopped.
“Go on. I’m listening.” I urged her.
“This is my entire fault. I wanted to save Zayn. If it wasn’t for me, Zayn wouldn’t be trapped like he is.” I could sense her emotion. I could sense her tears. All I wanted to do was to go over there and comfort her.
“Ally, sweetie. None of this is your fault. This is nobody’s fault. If there is anyone to blame, it’s Damen and that witch Kelly.” I took a moment to pause. “Ally, were coming. Are you at the house?” I asked. I really wanted to see her. I needed her in my arms, where she would be safe.
“N-no. We’re near the wood. You know where the old buildings are?” She asked. Confusion hit me.
“Yes, Ally. I know where that is, but why are you there?” I asked. “You haven’t run off have you?!” I almost yelled.
“No, no, no. Li, were here with the police. They have managed to track down Zayns phone, but we’ve lost the signal.” I sighed. We were one more step closer to finding Zayn, and another step closer for sending Kelly and Damen to prison.
“Ally I am coming. Please stay where you are.” I called Louis over and hinted towards the car. Harry understood straight away and leaped into the driver’s seat, which Lou beside him. I jumped in the back and said “I’ll see you soon Ally. Very soon. Please don’t do anything stupid.” I said.
“I won’t Liam. Please come here quick.” She replied. I could sense that her tears were going to come out any second now.
“I love you. Stay strong.” I whispered.
“I love you too.” She mumbled before the line went dead.
“So?” Harry and Louis both turned to me.
“We’re going back, near the woods where the abandoned buildings are.” I stated. Harry nodded and put his foot on the gas. We sped down the motorway. I gazed out the window, looking at the stars.
Please keep everyone safe. Please keep my Ally safe.
I sighed pressing the end call button and handed the phone back to Niall. He was looking at me with a sad and longing face. I could tell he was scared, so was I. In fact I was frightened. The police were still looking around the area, positive that we were nearby. No one knew what was going to happen next.
I was about to turn to El, when I heard a scream. Everyone froze as the scream echoed throughout the thick air. The entire colour from my body had drained, and if I was pale before, I defiantly looked like a ghost now.
The hairs stood on my arms and goose bumps formed. Who was that? Could it be…? Before I could even finish thinking, another scream pierced the air. It wasn’t any old scream though. It was low and I could literally feel the pain dripping from the sound.
I looked all around me. There was abandoned building after abandoned building. Some doors were bolted up with metal others had wood banged in with nails. Some windows had bits of broken glass still sticking out. Other had broken shutters, preventing anyone from seeing inside.
Where could that scream have come from? Surely it had to be Zayn. It just had to be him. I had to find him and I had to find him now. My heart pounded faster and faster as I could feel the blood run throughout me. My ears started to turn read as another deafening scream alerted me. I looked behind.
There was this one building. It was very old. The door seemed to have been bolted up with wood before, but was open just a crack; just enough for a person to get through. Through the windows something red and orange glimmered. My eyes widened. They had to be in there. I had to go in there now, before anyone stopped me.
Without another thought, I spun around and ran towards that building. I kicked open what was left of the door and hurried in. “Zayn!” I called.
But suddenly, as I opened my eyes to see more of the view in front of me, I wish I didn’t. An evil laugh echoed throughout the room, dripping with pure wickedness. My eyes widened at the scene before me.
“Well, hello Ally.” They said with a smirk on their face…
