*2 days later*
"STACEY!" my parents called from the kitchen. I ran down hoping for good news about the transferring. "Yes?" "Honey, we talked to the school and yes you can go," my Dad said. I wanted to just for joy but I heard more was coming so I just had the hugest grin on my face. "But," there's the but. "...where are you going to stay? They don't provide places to stay," my Dad finished. "Oh, I never thought of that," the smile went missing, until I thought up another great plan, "How about I stay with Beth!" "Well, we will have to give her parents a call," my Mum said. I already knew her parents would say yes so I skipped to my room and got out my phone to call Beth. Wait, what if her parents do say no? I will hold the call for a while. I sat on the bean bag near my bedroom window and stared into the rain. Yes....that's right...I said rain. It was raining in Australia, we aren't a desert land you know? I opened the window and listened. The rain was so soothing and always calmed me down. The smell and freshness of the air was so unexplainable. When I lived in England when I was younger, I hated the rain, but when we moved to Australia, I never knew how much I would miss it. The heat just got to me and when it rained, it was a blessing. "Stacey?" my Mum popped her head round my bedroom door. "Come in," I smiled. "We just called Beth's Mum," she said. "And...?" It sounded like bad news. "Well, she said yes," she smiled. "Mum, just made me doubt," I smiled and pushed her playfully. "OH!" she laughed. "I love you Mum," I pulled her into a hug. "Aww, I love you too baby," she smiled, well I couldn't see her face, but it felt like she smiled as her head pressed on my neck. "You should call Beth and tell her the great new," she let go of the hug and walked out the room to give me some space. I searched through my contacts and found Beth.
"STACEYYYY!!!!!" she screamed.
"Ouch," I mumbled and then just laughed.
"My mum told me! I can't wait! It's going to be great," she cheered.
"I know," I squealed, "I was going to tell you now, but obviously you already know."
"When you coming," she asked.
"I have no idea," I answered, "It can be a surprise."
"Okay, well I got to go, but I will see you later. Bye Stacey," she said in a very cheerful voice.
"Bye," I replied and hung up.
This is going to be so awesome. I need to tell Liam the news, he's going to sike out. I scrolled through my contacts to Liam. I closed my eyes and took a breath. "Ok, what should I say?" I mumbled to myself. "Okay." I pressed dial and the phone started to ring.
"Hey babe. What's the news?" Liam answered.
"Hello," I tried to sound upset so I could fool him.
"Stacey? Please don't tell me it's bad news," he sighed.
"Liam.....I'm so sorry, but I...I.....I CAN COME!" I cheered into the phone.
"OH MY GOSH! REALLY?" she exclaimed.
"Yes really!" The hugest grin was placed on my face.
"That's great, now I'm going to have to find some time to spend with you babe. It's going to be wonderful," he chanted.
"I know," I jumped for joy. We talked for about an hour until he had to go out to a concert and I had to go to sleep anyway.
