5. Unfriendly reminder
I began to walk and I could hear his voice behind me.
"Jorgie, just wait please."
I was storming along the sidewalk.
"Jorgie, just stop for one second, please!"
I spun to see Harry stumbling about two metres behind me.
"WHAT?" I screamed, the tears starting down my face.
"What happened?" he mumbled, clearly drunk.
"Nothing. I can't talk right now," I half yelled, "Go back inside and maybe I'll talk to you in the morning. Maybe!"
"I love you," he whispered.
I didn't reply. I merely spun and headed back to his place, slamming the bedroom door closed and laying on the bed sobbing.
I didn't go back inside. I ran. My vision was blurry and I had no idea how far I got before I collapsed on the park bench.
I don't know who came and got me but I woke up in the back of the van. The other boys were all there. I didn't really comprehend anything before I was being held by Louis and Niall as I stumbled into the flats door. I looked at the closed bedroom door and the boys practically threw me onto the lounge.
"What happened?" Louis glared at me.
Niall was shaking with anger.
"I have no idea," I frowned. "I don't know why she ran."
It was almost an hour before I heard them coming through the door. Louis practically yelling. They thought Harry had done something.
I sat up and sobbed loudly, loud enough for Harry to hear. His footsteps approached the door but I heard a loud bang and then him retreating.
I woke the next morning to multiple text on my phone.
From: Louis :) x
How are you this morning? I'm here if you need a friend :) x
He is a prick. :(
From: Perrie!! :)
How would you feel about lunch today? Just if you need something :)
From: El :) x
Call me ASAP!!
I obeyed and dialled her number. She answered quickly.
"Are you okay?" she demanded.
"What actually happened, may I ask?" she said weakly.
"It's fine. You have to let Louis know that it wasn't Harry. It was a guy from my past. I didn't think I would have to see him again and it really upset me, especially that he was talking to Harry."
"How about lunch to take your mind off things?"
"I'd love to, but I'm going to Cheshire."
"Yeah, it wasn't Harry's fault."
"But this guy?"
"Is a person that I don't want to talk about."
"Okay. Well call me if you need anything."
After I hung up, the bedroom door slowly creaked open. I spotted Harry's eye and then the rest of his head.
"May I come in?" he whispered.
He looked dreadful. I patted the bed next to me and he smiled and walked in.
"Are you okay?" I nodded softly.
"Sorry," I frowned.
"Shouldn't I be apologising?"
"You didn't do anything wrong. I just... I'm not gonna lie to you Harry. You know that guy that you were talking to?" I sat up and crossed my legs.
"In the corridor. Black hair, shocking blue eyes."
"I can't remember him," he shook his head.
"Well, good, cause I don't want to remember him. He was my boyfriend in Australia, a bit before I left. I refused to have sex with him do he tried to force it further. He actually got some of his mates to tie me to his bed." I started to cry again. "If it hadn't have been for my sister, I probably would've been raped. She called the cops when she realised I wasn't with her. The cops got to me at the last minute and I was half naked, tied to a bed with that guy trying to make me do things I didn't want to." Harry pulled me into him and I sobbed loudly. "This is why I am so weary of you and I like being told the truth."
He rubbed circles into my back as I sobbed into his bare chest.
"Shh," he kissed my head, "We don't have to go today, if you don't want to."
"I want to," I looked up at his face and smiled through my tears.
Two hours later, we were in the car and on our way to Cheshire. It seemed like a shorter drive this time.
"Hello!!" Anne greeted happily when we finally got there. Gemma walked out and I was somewhat shocked at her very big pregnant belly.
"It does not feel like it's been that long," I frowned, shaking my head and giving her a big cuddle.
Gemma was clearly excited for this baby. She showed us all the ultrasound pictures and made us feel for kicking.
Harry was slowly getting really excited. He was going to be an Uncle and he continued to tell us that.
"Uncle Harry," he smiled again as we sat on the couch watching tv. It was well past midnight now and everyone had gone to bed.
"Harry, wait until the kid is born," I laughed.
"What about Aunty Jorgie?" He smiled, looking down at me. We were laying close together and I shot my head up and almost fell off the lounge.
"It makes me sound old," I laughed, brushing it off.
He shook he's head and switched the tv off, dragging me up to his bedroom.
