The next five days fly by. I hang out with the boys at lunch, and after school. It's Friday now, I'm upset, tonight will be the last time I'll probably ever see the boys again. Liam's about to pick me up so we can all go see some films at the theatre. I wonder why nobosy else picks me up or we just use Louis' van. Weird. My thoughts are inertuppeted by a knock at my door. Oliver runs to it, so he can run out when I open it; but I snatch him up into my arms. "No Oliver. Not this time."
I open the door and am greeted by a really happy Liam. Was he happy it was our last day? No, he's my friend, he'd never think that. "Hey Em! Hello Olly." He says to Oliver and I. "Hey Li! Ready to go?" I say, grabbing my IPhone, and some cash, stuffing it into my jean pockets, puttin Olly down. "Yeah, let's go!" Liam says. We go out to the car, hand-in-hand, but this time, I don't pull away. We arrive at the theatre and the boys wait for us at the ticket booth. We decide to watch The House At The End of The Street. Once again, I sit inbetween Liam and Zayn. The film starts and I jump as something makes a noise in her house. I'm really scared.
"You okay babe?" Liam whispers in my ear, his hot breath tickling it softly.I nod my head and lay my head on his shoulder. He puts his arm around my waist, and I snuggle up closer. Somebody in the movie shrieks a blood-curdling scream, and I bury my face in Liam's chest. "Shh, it's okay Em." He whispers. I peek my face out, and look back at the movie. He kisses the top of my head, and I'm relaxed. Until one scene comes. There are childern's ghost whispering to her in her basement. Memories flood back to me, and I excuse myself to the loo. I run into a stall, not caring if anybody saw, or heard me.
I start to sob, the memories haunting me. 'You're wothless.' 'Nobody wants you alive! Go kill yourself.' 'You are ugly, fat, and nobody will ever love you.' 'Go to Hell!' I finally pull myself together and return to the movie. "Em, what's wrong?" Zayn whispers. I decide not to tell him and say instead, "I'm fine." He shrugs and I sit back down, Liam snaking his arm around my waist once again. I bury my face into his chest at the scary parts, and the boys all chuckle whenever I do so. Liam would roll his eyes and pull me closer.
The film ends arond six, so the boys and I go out to dinner, Pizza Hut, and ordered three large pizzas. While we wait, we sat at a table and chatted about the movie. "God Em, you should've seen the look on your face!" Louis says. "Shut up Lou." I giggle, lightly punching his shoulder. I feel like I've gotten closer with the boys since Sunday, except Harry, he still seems to not like me. Somewhere in the back of the kitchen, somebody drops a pan or something, and I squeal, burying my face into Liam chest once again. The table erupts into roars of laughter, except Liam who hugs me tighter. I peek my head out and blush, they probably think I'm easy to scare. I am.
They finally stop laughing when the waitress arives with our pizza. We eat up, almost all of the pizza, taking home the other half. On the way to my house Liam says, "Me and the boys are going to a club tonight. Would you like to come?" I thought about all the drunk men hitting on me and slutty girls dancing around with dresses four times too small on. No.
"Erm, no thanks, I'm really tired, I'll think I'll just head off to bed." I lie. "Okay.." We talk a bit more before we arrive at the parking lot of my flat. "So, I'll see you later Liam." I say as I step out of the car but Liam stops me, grabbng my wrist, filling them with pain from the scars. "I love you." He whispers. I look at him, a smile plays on his face. One plays on mine as well, and I whisper back, "I thought you'd never say that. I love you too." I kiss his cheek and run into my flat. My heart was pounding, Liam just told me he loves me.
Liam Payne loves me.
