Thanks xx :) FYI: If the paragraphing or anything looks weird, my computer kept messing up while typing this and I didn't notice it till I published it. It's still very understandable. (:

18 year old, Kaylee Jones, moves back to London with her American best friend friend, Bailey. While watching MTV one morning, Kaylee saw someone she knew. It was Louis Tomlinson of One Direction. That was her ex-boyfriend. What happens when they are brought together one day? And what will happen when another one of the band members fall for her? Find out in my movella. :)

25. I Guess This Is GoodBye

Kaylee's P.O.V

For some people, it's easy for them to face their problems. They can take it head on and not even be the slightest afraid. For others, it's easier for them to run. Unfortunately, I stand under the run away category. I can't face my problems. Some people call me weak or afraid. But I am afraid, maybe even weak.  I'm afraid in making a wrong decision.

That's why I'm running away. I'm running away back to America. I will take my parents home in New York and live there. I will find a good school to go to and get a decent job. One that can support me and no one else. I will forget about my life in London, from before I moved to America and after I moved back. Sure, I will miss my best friend. She is strong. She can live without me. She has Niall. I will go visit her once I am certain that all my feelings towards those two guys have disappeared.

I texted both Lou and Harry before leaving the apartment telling them both how sorry I was and that they would both just be better off without me. I knew they were at an interview. I remembered Liam telling them last week they had one. So it was sure that they wouldn't come after me. No one would.

I heard them call my plane number and I made sure to be the first one on. I wanted to get to my seat and be out before the plane starts taking off. No matter how many times I fly, I still never got used to it. I found my seat and sat down, putting my purse in the top compartment but keeping my phone out. Bailey keeps texting me so I eventually just turn it on airplane mode and pop in my headphones.

I stare out the window as I wait for my plane to take off. I only shed one tear before I felt the plane move and the flight attendant came on the radio telling us to buckle our seat belts.

"Goodbye London." I said before shutting the window cover thing and leaning back. I closed my eyes hoping to forget everything that has happened and I would be able to relax. I felt someone sit in the seat next to me but I didn't take notice of it. The plane was pretty full so I wasn't surprised that someone got put next to me. Well, I wasn't surprised till I felt them grab my hand.

My reflexes automatically caused me to pull away and dart my eyes open. Only to my surprise even more, I wasn't looking at a stranger. I was staring into the eyes of Louis Tomlinson. One of the main reasons I was leaving here in the first place.

"W-What are you doing here?" I asked him.

Louis's P.O.V

She asked me what I was doing here. Isn't it obvious? "You think I'm letting you go that easy?" I looked into her eyes and gave her a seductive smile. "You should be glad I'm here. It wasn't that easy getting to you." I laughed. She looked at me confused. "I had my phone on during the interview and I felt it vibrate in my pocket. So when they called for commercial break and Niall answered a call from Bailey, I checked my phone. Only seeing a message from you that tore me apart. I knew from there that I had to go after you if there was ever any chance in us again. So I did. I had to sneak out of the studio, sneak around screaming fans, catch a cab to the airport, and get a ticket before your plane took off. I was about to miss it but me being Louis Tomlinson, I was able to get on before they shut the gates."

She looked at me in shock. She looked like she didn't have a clue what to say. We were now fully in the air and it was a long trip back to the USA. She has to say something sooner or later. "I just couldn't let you leave." I finally whispered to her, finishing my speech that I rehearsed in the cab ride here.

"You just don't understand." She whispered back, transferring her stare from my eyes to her legs.

"No, I do. You pick one you lose the other. Bailey explained that to Harry and I. I'm sure me and him will work things out." I told her.

She was silent for a little bit still looking down at her legs. I leaned back in my seat and waited for her to say something.

"Lou.." She finally said.

"Yes?"

"When we get off this plane in America, your getting right on another flight back to England and letting me live my life in America." She told me. She was confident this time and her blue eyes were looking straight into mine. I was taken away by her words. I've tried so hard. I don't know how she can just let us go.

"But..." I trailed off and all she did was shake her head. She had pain in her eyes. Like she didn't want to have to say the words she said. But she said them anyway. She leaned back in her seat and put her headphones back in her ears. I sighed and closed my eyes. This is was going to be a whole lot more awkward than I had imagined.

I didn't realize it but I had fallen asleep. I woke up when the plane landed. I looked over and Kaylee was asleep while listening to her music. I shook her slightly and she woke up. She rubbed her eyes and yawned while stretching. "Thanks for waking me." She said but it sound more like gibberish with her sleepy voice. I got her bag for her from the top compartment and handed it to her.

We both walked off the plane in silence. We went to pick up her bag and was immediately mobbed by a couple One Direction fans that recognized me. Of course they asked what I was doing here for but I just told them that it was a secret and no one knew I was in America. Which was basically the truth. I gave them pictures and autographs so they wouldn't tell anybody and they finally left us alone. We got her bag from pick up and we slowly walked to the ticket counter.

I got my ticket and the next flight wasn't leaving for another 45 minutes. Kaylee offered to wait with me. I didn't decline. I wanted to spend these last minutes with her knowing I don't know when I will see her again, if I ever do. We sat on some benches and waited.

"You know, this reminds me of when I was leaving to move to America." She said. I looked at her. She was looking at the ground but had a smile on her face. I chuckled.

"Yes, it does." I agreed with her. "Only this time I'm leaving."

I remember the day she left. We didn't want to let each other go. We both cried while we embraced each other in a hug. I kept giving her kisses not wanting to let her leave. Her dad told her to hurry up or they were gonna miss the plane. She nodded and looked at me again. I was about to tell her that I thought it would be best if she forgot about me. We couldn't have a long distance relationship. It would kill us. But before I could tell her that, she got to it first. She's broke it off between us before I could. I didn't hesitate to agree with her. I gave her one last hug and she started to walk away. She didn't get ten feet away from me before turning to look at me again. I gave her a week smile and she starred at me. She dropped all her bags and ran towards me, planting her lips onto mine when she reached me. I didn't think twice about wrapping my arms around her lifting her off the ground. We heard the final boarding call for their flight and I put her on the ground. We pulled apart and she started crying even harder. I told her everything will be okay. She just nodded and ran back to her parents. They both gave me a smile while waved and they were gone for good.

"Lou...? Louuu?" I heard someone call my name. It brought me back to reality. Kaylee was sitting next to me. "Are you okay?" She asked.

I felt something hit my hand. I looked down and it was water. "Don't cry, please." Kaylee wiped my face off with the sleeves of her jacket. I felt stupid for crying but I was a bit emotional today. I gave her a halfhearted smile. "Everything will be okay." She gave me a smile in return. Funny. I told her that before she left now shes telling me that. "Let's go get something to eat." She suggested and I agreed. I was starved. There was a Cinnabon right there at the airport so we both got a cinnamon roll and a coffee. I didn't feel as sad as we were eating and talking. It was quite nice actually, until they called for people boarding my flight. We threw our trash away and started walking towards the gate.

"I guess this is goodbye." I told her and she just nodded slowly. We both stood there awkwardly for a second. She wrapped me a hug.

"I'll miss you." She said into my shoulder.

"I'll miss you too. I hope you find what your looking for." I said and I felt her smile into my shoulder. We pulled apart. "Bye, Kaylee."

"Bye Lou." She smiled which actually made me smile for once. I turned and walked away but I stopped for a second. I took a glance back and she was still starring at me. I looked back at my gate, back at her, and then to the ground. I took one deep breath before turning around and walking away. Not towards the gate but to Kaylee, she looked at me confused as I approached her but before she could say anything I grabbed her face and crashed my lips unto hers. It took her a second but she did kiss back and returned by wrapping her arms around my waist.

When we pulled away for air, she looked at me a bit shocked. "I'm sorry. But I couldn't leave without doing that." I turned around and walked away without even saying goodbye. I left her completely speechless. I couldn't help but smile as I crossed through those gates to my plane.
