4. Feeling like a Princess

Laura's POV: Once we arrived at our hotel, both our jaws dropped. It was gorgeous, I had never seen a Hotel so elegant and beautiful. As you walked in the marble floors shined, the walls were colour synced, olive green and maroon. The reception desks were black and silver, with 2 pretty young ladies standing behind it looking busy behind their Apple Mac. To your left there was a small lounge with an cosy gas fireplace covered by shiny glass, three two-seater couches were placed around it, and dark wooden coffee table in the middle, with a neat stack of the latest magazines. To the right was two large french styled doors, leading to the restaurant and bar, I could see happy customers eating and drinking, I wanted to join them. "Hello Ladies, Welcome to Oceanfront Hotel. Have you booked a room with us?" A kind face asked. "Yes, it will be under my name, Ruby Smith." Stated Ruby polietly. "There we are, Here are your keys, you two are on floor 20, the top floor and room number 1297." She told us kindly. "Thank-you" I told her. "And you can leave your luggage here, Our Bellhop with take them up to your room." She added. "Oh, okay" Ruby said, happily. Our luggage was getting heavy. My luggage made me think of my encounter with Harry, I smiled. "Let's go, I'm exhausted!" Ruby exclaimed to me. I didn't notice how I tired I was until Ruby mentioned it. "Yeah, you and I both".  "OH MY GOSH." Ruby squealed suddenly gaining a burst of energy. "This room is amazing! Look at the view!" She was right, this room was most likely the best room I had ever been in, it was perfect, like a upmarket apartment. And the view, it was nothing like I'd seen before. The moon reflected perfectly against the calm sea, it glistened like the ice slowly melting in the sun on a early morning. "Wow." Is all I could say.  We had our own rooms, as I walked into mine, I gasped. It was even more amazing, a king size bed, large flat screen tv on the wall, ensuite bathroom with a spa bath and a surprisingly large shower, decor on the walls, massive walk-in wardrobe with two fluffy robes, extra pillows and blankets. I sighed, if only I had the money to live this luxury everyday. I dived for the bed and sunk into it slowly. I didn't want to move, it was comfortable lying here still in my jeans and top from early this morning. I feel like a princess living in a castle, except without my prince. I decided to get into my grey sweat pants and a over-sized tee. I climbed under the silky covers, yearning for sleep. I became comfortable almost instantly and shut my eyes, within seconds I was asleep.
