My names True Callern. I'm 16 years old. I live in a village called Arenathon. It's an old village, and i've lived here all my life, not that i've had any choice in that. But in the town centre, thats where the palace is. The prince lives here you see, and things are about to get..lets say different.

7. awake

I woke up in a magnificinent room. I was taken aback until I realized where I must be. In the palace. Why am I in the palace? I remember fainting but surely the officials would have carted me off home. I was confused, and I wanted to get home which was odd because I was in this magical place. I slowly climbed out of bed, and padded across the fluffy carpet to the door. I opened it and gingerly took a look outside. There was a little hallway then I saw about 5 other hallways all holding rooms within them. I looked out a window to see I was quite high up. How was I meant to get downstairs? I walked around for a while, trying to get my bearings when I finally found a huge staircase, which may look hard to miss but this place is so huge I don't know how anyone could possibly find their way around. I gripped the glass bannister and slowly made my way downstairs to see the giant pine table which was full yesterday, now was caked in breakfast. I saw noone in this giant room other than the prince himself, sitting alone on one of the chairs surronding the table. I didn't know what to do, he hadn't seen me yet. Should I say hello? Thank you? Ask him why on earth im here? I decided on option 3 as he caught my eyes and smiled. I felt my knees go weak at the sight of him, his smile perfecting the look. I grit my teeth and stayed strong. No way was I going to faint over a boy again, even if he was the prince. I must have come across a complete weakling. 'Morning!' He said completely casually. 'H..hi' I managed to choke out. He laughed a little, and smiled again. 'Whats..going on?' I mumbled, somehow embarrassed. 'Well you fainted, I was going to get an official to take you home, but when I was told it was an hour away, I didn't want you out in the cold for that long, while you were unconscious. I offered your mother and brother to stay here, but they said they had to go, so an official took them home' He explained, quickly and clearly. 'Well, thanks' I replied, still a little shocked. I stayed a night in the palace. It was a lot to take in. 'Well, I suppose I should go' I said, making my way to the door. 'No!' The prince said a little desperatley. I looked at him, confused. He coughed. 'I mean, well yeah you can, but you can stay here for a while?' He said.
