Remembering Katy Perry

Sixteen year old Maddie has lived a hard life. She also keeps a big secret. When she finds out the boy she met two years ago at a concert is Harry Styles, her life turns to chaos. She has to chose between her brutal, unforgiving past or the new, shining future with her love. It's an easy choice! At least it is until her past comes to haunt her future..

2. Remembering Katy Perry

It was two years ago. Kath an I had gone and seen Katy Perry. My Ryan had scored front row seats again, trying to make up for what he did. I'm still not sure how.

Anyway, halfway through the concert I had seen this really good looking guy. He was tall and lean with dark, curly hair and brilliant green eyes. I couldn't tear my eyes away from him. He was mesmerizing. I had nudged Kath and pointed him out. She said he was alright looking and went back to dancing to California Gurls.

For the rest of he concert, I had paid more attention to him than I had Katy Perry. The concert was nearly over, when I had decided to say hi to him. I told Kath I was going to use the bathrooms and walked toward him.  I had also decided that I was going to "accidentally" run into him.

He was about ten feet away and staring right at me when I felt something slippery underneath my shoe. I slipped and wobbled, trying to regain my balance, while the beautiful stranger stared at my struggle. I finally lost it and fell back on my butt, splitting my pants in half.

I stayed down for a minute watching the lights, thinking about my next move, when I seen him start walking toward me. I froze. My brain was screaming at me to get up, move, laugh, smile, something! But I was stuck. I sat and stared dumbly as he got close and squatted next to me.

"Are you alright, love? That was quite a spill you took" he said in husky, slow voice. He had an accent to. I'm pretty sure it was British but it was beautiful.

"I, uh..uhm, yeah. I'm ok." I managed to get out. He extended his hand and I took it as he helped me up. I brushed my self off, not looking the stranger in the eyes. "Thanks" I said, daring to look up.

He was a few inches taller than me and absolutely gorgeous. He had deep brown curls everywhere and his eyes were even more stunning up close. They were big and had a bright, greenish-gray color to them and were surrounded by thick, black lashes.

"No problem, love. What's your name?" he asked with a smile, making his dimples noticeable. "Im Maddie." "Nice to meet you, Maddie. I'm Harry."

Harry. It's a name I'll never forget.

I looked around for moment, seeing Kath begging Kath Perry for an autograph and chuckled. "What's so funny?" I turned back to Harry to answer his question but I heard Kath yell my name, telling me it's time to go. I seen Ryan behind her and knew I had no time to spare.

I looked at Harry apologetically and went to speak when he said "It's alright. I understand. Go with your friend. I hope we meet again some day Maddie." He leaned in, kissed my cheek softly, and was off. I haven't been able to stop thinking about him since.

Harry's Pov
God, this concert is boring. I love Katy Perry and all, but I have no one here with me. It was a mistake leaving the lads back at home. I would of had a blast if they we're here. I should of at least brought Louis. Oh well.

I looked around and seen a ton of girls, but one stuck out. She had straight blonde hair, going down to the middle of her back, bright blue eyes, and soft pink lips. She was stunning and she was staring at me.

"Oh God, what do I do? Smile? Wave? Damn it! She looked away now. I should of smiled at her!" The thoughts raced through my head as I sighed. I looked around and seen some girl up front dancing like an idiot. I watched her for a minute.

Something bright caught the corner of my eye and I seen the blonde stranger was walking toward me. She was only a few meters away when she started flailing her arms. "oh no..she's gonna fall.." I thought helplessly. She fell back and landed straight on her bum.

When she didn't get up, I walked over and crouched by her, being careful not to step in whatever she did. "Are you alright, love? That was quite a spill you took." I said. She looked stunned for a moment then sputtered "I, uh..uhm, yeah. I'm ok." God, she's beautiful.

Up close I could see her eyes were surrounded by dark, long lashes. They were completely stunning. Bright blue and full of curiosity. They also had something mysterious in them.  Her skin was fair, but had a nice tan to it. It wasn't flawless, but still beautiful, and her pink lips shimmered in the concert lights.

I extended my hand to her, hoping shed grab it, and she did. I helped her up carefully, making sure not to hurt her and she thanked me. "No problem, love. What's your name?" I asked. "I'm Maddie" she said in a sweet, shy voice.

Maddie, what a lovely name.

"Nice to meet you, Maddie. I'm Harry." I replied. She loooked around and giggled. "What's so funny?" I asked curiously. I seen her take a breath as if to answer but turn back around. A short girl with brown, curly hair was yelling her name. She turned back to me, looking upset.  Before she could apologize for leaving I spoke up. "Its alright. Go with your friend. I hope we meet up again someday, Maddie" I said, with as much enthusiasm as I could muster up.

She still looked a bit sad, so leaned in and lightly kissed her cheek. I turned and walked away before I could see her reaction. Plus, i had to leave soon anyway. My plane for Cheshire was leaving in an hour. I walked away wondering if I was ever going to see Maddie again.
