42. Chapter 42

I felt so incredibly sad after what happened with Niall the day before. We didn't have dessert, none of us really wanted to stay on the café much longer. And I was right. The night ended in tears, from both of us. It just seems so surreal. Thousands of girls all over the world is in love with this boy, and I just broke him. I literally broke him. I haven't seen a boy cry over a girl in the way Niall cried when I left. It broke my heart.
I was just laying in bed. Jack had been called up by his boss, and sent to work, even though we should have spend the day together, but he had to make some money, and he knew, that if my boss called, I would have gone too. It was around noon someone called me. I checked the caller ID, and I didn't know it. "Hello?" I asked. "Trine?" A familiar voice said, "Louis, hi!" He chuckled a bit, but then went completely silent. "I have to ask you something, Trine, and you have to be completely honest with me, okay?" I suddenly turned nervous, like when you have to go out with someone for the first time, or you have an important meeting. "Erm, okay?" I said, waiting for him to ask me. My mind blew up. What in the world could it be? Had something happened? Was Niall okay? What in the world was he going to ask me? "What happened yesterday? Between you and Niall, I mean?" I sighed into the phone, "It's a long story, Lou. Honestly." I could hear him sigh too. "I've got time." I thought about it. I really needed someone to talk about what happened with, and I couldn't talk to Jack. And I wasn't so sure if I should talk about it with Jessica, 'cause I knew she didn't like Jack, at all. But Louis would pick Niall's side in this too, so what should I do? "Can you meet up?" I asked, "I prefer talking about it in person." Actually, it was just because I hate talking on the phone. It's just so awkward, and you can't see the other person's face, so you can't really know if they're telling the truth or not. "Sure. Where should it be?" I didn't really feel like leaving my flat, "Can you come to my flat?" I asked, hoping he would refuse. "Sure, just text me your address, and I'll be on my way." I smiled to myself, "Will do, see you in a bit." We hung up, and I texted my address to I got up to get dressed and remove my makeup from the day before. I didn't bother putting on some new, it was only Louis who was going to come and I didn't figure I had to go outside.
I turned off the TV as someone was ringing my door phone. "Yes?" I said, expecting Louis to answer. "It's me." Louis said, and I pushed the button, so he would be able to open the door . I opened my flat door, and waiting for Louis to get up the stairs. As I saw him, a smile automatically came to my lips. "Geez! Don't flat buildings usually have elevators?" He asked. I giggled a bit. "I've missed you so much Lou!" I said, as I pulled him into a hug. "Aw, I've missed you too, Train." Train was the nickname he had given me back in London, because he found my name quite weird and difficult to say.
