Accidental Fate - One Direction

Trine are going to London with one of her best friends - Jessica. They are going to a concert the night they arrive - A One Direction Concert. The hotel is great - and so is everything else. But what will happen when one gets on the wrong floor - one passes out - and new friends get together? One'll get ill and have a pretty bad scare. Some will maybe fall in love. Promises are made and promises are broken.
Moving on is hard - facing the past is harder, and to say goodbye is the hardest.

20. Chapter 20

Liam looked confused, and started to walk to me along with Jessica and Harry, "I don't understand. You don't want to see him again?" I shook my head, "I want to see him again, that's not it. I just.... Can't." I looked at Jessica, who knew what I meant - the look I gave her I was practically begging for help. She gave me a look that I knew just too well. I had been fighting the tears, but it just didn't seem to matter anymore. As Jessica whispered something to Harry, who nodded and asked Liam to go with him - the memory came floating back.

I was sitting in my room, listening to my mom and dad fighting. I sighed. They had been fighting a lot over the last couple of months, and even though they didn't know it yet - I already knew what it all was headed against; A divorce. Even though I only were 12 years old, I knew - I knew all too well. Why - I didn't know, though. I just knew that they were fighting over something dad did - I didn't listen to what they actually said, only the loud yelling and my own thoughts about it. A door slammed,  a car drove down our driveway and then nothing. Silence. Then, things began to crash in the kitchen, and someone was crying. I could tell it was my mom. "Mom?" I called as I slowly went down the stairs to the main floor in the house. Nothing - no one answered. "Mom?" I called again as I went into the kitchen. Broken glass, broken plates, everything - broken - was laying all over the kitchen floor, and in the middle of it all was my mom sitting - crying her heart out. "Mom?" I almost whispered. She looked at me, with tears streaming down her face. "H.. He left." She whispered. At first I didn't understand - but then I did - and as I has predicted - my father had left us. I didn't know what to say, honestly - don't get me wrong I loved my father, I really did - but that day I lost every respect I had ever had for him. He left - without a single word to me. The last thing he ever said to me was; "Honey, go to your room, and stay there, okay?" I didn't cry that day though - at least I didn't when I was with my mom - 'cause she needed me to be tough - to be the one who was okay, even though I really WASN'T.

I was still standing in front of the entrance to the hotel with Jessica. She didn't say anything, 'cause she knew, that I just needed time. I was looking through the glass doors, seeing Liam looking back at us before heading up the stairs. What was it with him? He seemed different. Was it because Danielle and him no longer was a couple? I didn't know - but something told me, that I wanted to know.
After a while Jessica spoke up; "You have to go in there you know," She sighed, "We can't stay here all night." I sighed too, knowing that she was right, and Liam has said that he wanted to tell me something, which actually had gotten me pretty curios by now. I nodded, ready to go in. I started to walk to the entrance, but stopped just before the doors. "What do I do, if I meet him?" I asked, turning to Jessica beside me. "You put on that pretty smile of yours, and show that boy what he's missing!" She said with a grin. I chuckled a bit - I knew I could always depend on Jessica, when something was going against me. I took a deep breath and walked through the big glass doors. The heat inside made my cheeks go red from the chilliness outside. I had no idea about how long we had been standing outside of the hotel - only that my legs was starting to get sore, from standing still, while I was just watching the hotel - deeply regretting to have reacted the way I did. As one thing I had come to an conclusion of; both Niall and I had overreacted.
As we reached the top of the stairs, I could see Liam waiting in front of our room. He looked up, and smiled a bit, when he saw that I finally had decided to come inside, instead of standing outside of the hotel. Jessica gave me her room key, while saying that she would let me and Liam talk alone, while she went up on the next floor, to talk to Harry. Sure - they were going to talk, right.
In silence I unlocked the door and stepped inside with Liam close behind. I went over to my bed and put my bag down beside it, while I sat down on the bed, patting the space beside me, gesturing for Liam to sit down. He smiled a bit, while he went over to sit beside me. I turned a bit, so I was facing him. "What's up?" I asked him, sounding more happy than I was. "Well...." He started, and let out a sigh.
