Lucky, unlucky, forget me <3

First off, all the stuff in this fanfic is a characters point of view, not my own, so im not saying i think Niall needs to try harder to fix his teeth, or that none of them have manners, its just the characters first judgement. I dont think any of that, i love them for who they are, and im not a directionATOR, im a directionER, this is simply just a character, and if im honest, it was really hard to say that about them, because its not true!
This is a story about a girl, and Niall, Niall and a girl. Except this girl is no ordinary girl, she is his brother. His unwelcome, unloved, lonley brother. She thinks she's going to be like that forever, until one train ticket to London, and a bump into a stranger on the streets changes everything... Summer, here we come...:D

10. Bring it on.

'Liam, why do i feel like someones watching me?' i worried, looking around nervously.
'Its probably just your imagination' he didnt even look up to face me, he just continued tweeting things to his fans.
I decided music would take my mind off of this whole drama. The boys were leaving the day after tomorrow, and i actually felt the saddest ive ever felt before. I ha jst found Niall, and now he was going to go to Spain and leave me. I felt like my whole point in life was so that people could abandon me. All the time. No one cared how i felt. They disnt give a damn if i had feeling or not. But i do. And my heart gets broken sometimes too. Even if people dont think it does.
Just as i popped my earphones into my ears, Liam got up to leave the room and to take an 'important call', so he said.
The first song on my playlist was 'As long as you love me' by Justin Beiber. I wasnt the biggest fan of him, but i don't mind him, and the songs one of my favorite for now. Just as it got to the chorus, i completly forgot about anything else in the world and sang. I sang my heart out to my self, not realising who loud i was.
'Oh my god, Alex! Why didnt you tell me you could sing that good!?' Liam suddenly shouted, startlig me and causing me to drop my phone.
'Liam! I forgot you were here!' i fumbled with my hand under the couch and luckily my hand brushed over it.
'Come with me, now' he ordered. I'd learnt with in the space of 3 days, since i met him, not to argue with him under any curcumstances. He was too strong and too scary when he was angry or when he became bossy, in Nialls words anyway.
'What are we doing?!' i said, trying my hardest to get out of his grasp. His grip was too tight around my wrist, and it was starting to go numb and everything.
When i thought it was going to drop off, he let go and knocked on Nialls door multiple times. Liam didnt even say hi to him!
'Can you play guitar Alex?' he stopped as he got halfway into Nialls room. I nodded slowly and he rushed off again.
'Don't you touch my guitar!' Niall screamed. Liam ignored him an took the guitar by its neck. He tryed stopping him, but Liam was determinded to do something, i didnt know what, but i wa pretty sure steam would be coming out of his nostrils and ears soon, full of excitment and determination.
'Here, follow me' he shoved the guitar in my face and went down the stairs to the floor below. I heard irish screams coming behind me from Niall, who was just really chasing his guitar.
We reached the hallway of Floor 9, and Liam knocked twice on the first door on the right. There was a long pause, in so Liam fidgeted impatiently, and me and Niall just muffled giggles while exchanging confused glances.
'Simon!' Liam shouted excitedly when the door finally opened.
'What can i do for you Liam?' came from the man himself. Simon Cowell was infront of me. Wow!
'This is Nialls sister, we'll explain that later, but you rang me saying we needed to find a replacment to open our shows, correct?' he said formally.
'I think i found you one' Liam grinned, pointing to me.
My eyes grew wider and i immediatly shook my head wuicker than i thought was possible.
'No, no-'. I protested, but Liam ignored my exsistance.
'Sing for him Alex, we're counting on you, please?' Liam pleaded, holding both my shoulders and shaking me.
I sighed and scoweled, but prepared the guitar in my arms anyway.
I thought, since i had the guitar and could use it to my advantage, i'm perform my own origninal song to him, just to see if someone as big as Simon could approve of it.
'Well the sky is blue and the grass is green,
And everything else that's inbetween,
Is brighter, and better,
And the sunsets red while the walls are white,
And everything else is oh so nice,
Its better, and brighter' i sang, the first verse of my song going well.
I continued with the chorus, then the second verse, all the way through to the bridge and finished with a long D chord, never opening my eyes once. That had always been a thing, not that i'd done it more than once, but every time i sang an original song, i didnt open my eyes. I kept them shut. My dad had always said, 'If you close your eyes, while writing and singing your own songs, i find it just comes to you naturally, and it'll be much better, and the smile on your face will be much brighter'
It was my motto in life now, and the inspiration for that song if you couldn't tell.
There was a pause of silence once i'd finished, and i waited nervously for Simons judgement. Liam bit his lip, and Niall just stood there, astonished. I handing him back his guitar quickly.
'Wait' Simon said when Niall grabbed the neck of it. He stopped and looking up.
'Niall, you know the chords to 'I'm yours' by Jason Mraz, right?' he confirmed, and Niall nodded.
'Play that for me, Alex sing the verses, Niall join in on the chorus and sing the bridge alone, i want to hear that' he demanded.
I wasnt going to say no, so did as he asked while Niall played his guitar perfectly. I felt more confident with Niall singing too, and if im honest, we didnt sound half bad.
There was another long pause once we'd finished, as the music producer tapped a pen on the table and was deep in thought.
'Okay, Alex, i'd like you to be the opening act for the boys while their on tour in America. I want you to spend time practicing in the two weeks break in Spain, and i also want you to prepare that exact duet so that its perfect. Sound guys will come down to check you in the last few days, you'll do a small concert as practice on the last day of your vacation, then you'll be straight to work in America if they like you, deal?' he explained, leaning over his desk to shake my hand.
I'd just got a job as a singer for One Direction, how could i turn that down!
Bring on Spain.
