7. Don't Go Away

Ellie pulled up the shade in the kitchen. It was still pitch black outside and pouring. Occasionly, thunder and lightning would come tearing down, causing Ellie to jump on someone in fear. Please rain.. never go away. She silently prayed.

Liam was busy cleaning the kitchen with Niall, Morgan was talking to Zayn and Harry at the island, and Louis.. where was he? Ellie simply shrugged. "Does anyone mind if I shower?" She asked. "Looking back on it now I know I could've- no, Ellie- done better than I did." Harry said, not taking his eyes off of Morgan. Zayn and Niall shook their heads, and Liam replied with a simple nope. "Morgy, if they start going wild, just bust into the bathroom. That goes for her, not you four." Ellie declared, pointing a finger at the boys. She winked and dashed upstairs.

Ellie went into her room, getting her towels and clothes, humming a 1D song. After she took her shower and got changed, she found herself in the room next to hers. Her fathers "study". She picked up his guitar and sat against the wall. She played a few simple chords. "And don't, go away." Ellie sang. "Never go, away. Time of begging, time of pleading. Don't go away. No, don't wanna play the same old games. Just need something, someone to hold me, protect me. To stop the hands of time, brake it beyond repair. Just don't let my heart go, don't make a mistake. Don't go away." She sang. It was a poem she had written a long, long time of go and she sang it when she didn't have anything else to sing. Ellie opened her eyes, to see a pair of grey toms and medium blue skinny jeans. She looked up, and saw Louis' white striped shirt with the same color blue stripes. His eyes were glinting with each passing lightning flash, and he had a blank expression on his face. Ellie kept looking at him, but her eyes drifted off to the side, and around the room til they landed back on him. Eventually, Louis opened his mouth. "You play the guitar really well." He said softly. "Lou.. you okay?" She asked, concern spreading acrossed her face. "Yeah.. storms just scare me." He murmured, sitting down next to Ellie and lying his head on her shoulder. Ellie softly stroked his hair, humming. "Sometimes I feel that they will never end and we will be stuck in eternal darkness." He whispered. Ellie rubbed his cheek bone softly with her thumb. "No no. Keep looking forward, 'cause everything gets better. It may be stormy now but it can't rain forever." She said softly. Louis looked up at her with his beautiful sea green-blue eyes, staring deep into her medium brown eyes. Ellie stared back down at him. Louis leaned up a little bit, and pressed his lips against hers in a soft, gentle kiss.
