Moments In Time

Chelsea was just an normal girl with an obse... ahem... dedication with the biggest boy band of the generation... One Direction. But as soon as the five-some arrive in Melbourne, Australia, Chelsea's life is turned upside down. Meeting up with them is once-in-a-lifetime... but when more opportunities pop up, it seems too good to be true.

44. Secrets Should Stay Hidden

I crossed my arms tightly and exhaled a long sigh, "That's it bag. I've had enough!" I jumped onto my suitcase and sat on it as I tried to zip it up. No luck. Liam emerged from the en suite with nothing more, nothing less than shorts and a towel around his neck, "Whats wrong babe?"

"I can't get my suitcase closed!" I cried, well and truly fed up. Why am I packing my suitcase? I'm not leaving London, that's for sure. Later this week, us girls and boys are going touring! We'll have Ed Sheeran on the road with us and Five Seconds Of Summer will meet us at each location. Firstly, we would start off in the UK, travel around there and then fly off to Australia where we can also travel there. That would give us time to catch up with our family and finally see them.

Liam rolled his eyes and opened my suitcase, "How... How did you fit all of this coming over?" Liam asked, completely gobsmacked. I shrugged innocently and he leapt onto my suitcase, pushing it down, "Quick! Zip it up!"

I pulled on the zip as hard as I could, the suitcase zipping up fairly slowly. After about a minute of constant pulling and tugging, the suitcase was closed. I sighed with relief and high-fived Liam, happy with our success. I heard a car beep from outside and the kids downstairs whooped with excitement. I glanced at Liam and he smiled, "The bus is here... want to have a look?"

I nodded and leapt down the stairs. I bolted towards the front door and swung it open. In front of our house sat a fairly large bus, fit for eight people. We headed towards the us and jumped in; everyone was already in the bus, taking a peek. It had a table to eat and a lounge (that would be able to fold out into a bed for Ed) to laze around on. Further back had eight bunks, four on the ground and two on top, on either side of the bus leaving a walkway to the back. At the very back had a large-ish wardrobe and bathroom.

I traced my finger on one of the chairs and shook my head in disbelief, "This is amazing! How can you cram all of this into a bus?" I asked, grabbing an X-Box 360 controller and inspecting it.

"Everything we do is magic..." Liam sung, smirking, "But I'd like to know how you crammed all of YOUR stuff into your suitcase."

I laughed and strolled around the bus one more time...

I remember, not even a year ago, I was a massive fan with the five boys I now call mates. I would blog about them, day in, day out and never be ashamed of my dedication. When I saw those backstage tickets, it was a moment I would never forget. When Chelsea had met them before hand, I didn't believe her. But, eventually I did. I still can't believe the way that met. That one slip of paper changed our lives forever.

When I was told that I was going to spend a day with One Direction, I thought I was dreaming. I still didn't understand it was happening. The way I was introduced to Liam... He won't ever stop reminding me! It was just one trip, and that fall landed me into Liam's arms.

Now, in living the dream I thought would never happen, not in this lifetime. I have the perfect boyfriend, the perfect friends and the perfect life. I don't have any regrets... and I want I to stay that way.

* *

I searched through the shopping bags as Louis drived Niall and I home for the shopping centre. Paparazzi flogged us, so we hoped for the best that we had grabbed all of the groceries. I sat in the passenger seat and flicked through the shopping list, "Marshmallows, check. Coal, check. Milk, check. Chocolate bars, check... where's the mini cupcakes! We were going to grab some of those!"

"You mean Harry..." Louis joked, smirking. For some reason, Louis' attitude had somewhat improved. None of us know why... but its probably something to do with Rena. What happened when Louis went to grab Chels when he went for a walk? We will never know, both of them aren't fond of being so open.

"We did! They're here!" Niall cried, finding the box of cupcakes. I searched through the bags and ticked off every item on the list. Now, you're probably wondering why I'm so worked up about all of these groceries. Well, all eight of us, are having a little party between us. Celebrating the time we've spent together and how much we're going to miss the big house of ours. So many memories that we will have to let go. But we're only halfway though our journey, the tour will branch over pretty much the whole year. Mid year we'll have a break and every now and then, and especially when we're in Australia. I can't wait to see the big family again and introduce Niall... It will be so much fun touring!

We pulled up at the house and thumping music echoed as soon as we stepped out of the car, "TURN IT DOWN!" I screeched as soon as I stepped in the door, "Jeez, any louder and the deaf people will come knocking asking you to turn it off."

Zayn shrugged innocently and continued dancing horridly to Avicii. Louis shook his head and walked over to him after he had plonked a bunch of grocery bags on the island bench. Louis started to dance 'The Joe' and perfected it amazingly, soon moving on to teach Zayn. Unfortunately, Zayn never got the hang of it. I shook my head and unloaded the groceries quickly. I grabbed a blanket and wrapped it around my body, walking outside. We started the small, controlled bonfire and gathered everyone around that. I handed a marshmallow on a stick and collapsed into a seat. The sun dipped away and our singing voices echoed into the night, along with the guitar that Niall held. I was so lucky to have such an amazing groups of friends!

The snow started to flicker down so all of us grabbed what we could, put the fire out and ran inside. We crouched in a circle in the living room and laughed quietly to ourselves. It had already reached eleven, so we couldn't stay up too late. We had to wake up early-ish to get on the road. I scanned my eyes around the room and sighed silently to myself as the others talked. I couldn't believe I was going to go on tour with the boys, it seemed like yesterday I met them...

can still remember Liam emerging from the building to usher us up into the radio station. How he couldn't help but be such a gentlemen.

I walked in and Niall rose from his seat, "CHEEELSSEAAAA!" he cried as he ran over to me.

He came to a stop in front of me. "Wow! It's so good to finally meet you! Your look so different compared to your voice!" he laughed.

I nodded, "That's what a lot of my friends say... I guess... Anyways, hey Niall!" I wrapped my arms around him and he gave me a huge Niall bear hug, as if he knew me for ages.

I gripped my hands around my phone which lay in my pocket. I had to grab it soon so I can take some quick snaps!

"And your even more adorable in person!" I cried as I pulled away. Niall blushed and turned away. Zayn walked up to me next.

"Ah! So YOU'RE Chelsea!" Zayn cried as he held out his hand, "Zayn, Zayn Malik-" he then bent down to whisper in my ear, "-If you need any assistance hooking up with any of the boys, come to me!"

I giggled and accepted his hand, "Ok I will, nice meeting you, Zayn Malik."

Harry then came up to me, "I can't believe this is happening! I'm finally meeting you after a meeting on the phone!" he gave me a quick hug and shuffled away for Louis to look me in the eyes.

"Hey Chelsea," he said softly. He definitely seemed shy and (somewhat) unprepared.

I smiled, trying to lift his attitude, "Hey, Louis! I can't believe I'm meeting you right now!"

Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Harry nudge Liam and whisper something in his ear.

He nodded, "Either, you look..."

"Phenominiall!" Niall whispered.

"Amazayn!" Zayn hissed.

Louis laughed, "...Stunning!"

I chuckled under my breath and couldn't help but smile. I suddenly felt Julia's elbow collide with my arm and I looked down. Out of no where, a bottle appeared on the ground and pointed directly at me, "What's going on?"

"Haven't you been listening?" Niall laughed loudly, shaking her head, "We're playing 'Seven Minutes In Heaven'... and you and Harry have to join each other in the wardrobe!"

Whoa... Whoa... Whoa... WHAT? I was just taking five minutes to re-visit the best moment in my life and now I'm expected to get in a closet with Harry? Well that escalated quickly...

I glanced at Louis who managed a small smile. He flicked his hands and shrugged, "Go on..." He mouthed.

Harry stood up and grabbed my hand, "Well isn't this a coincidence?" He joked as we climbed the stairs together after exiting the lounge room. I pushed out door open and the others waited outside the room, giggling madly. I opened the wardrobe and steppers in, Harry jumping in after me and closing the door. I could hardly see him, but I couldn't faintly make out his silhouette. Our hands knotted together and I blushed invisibly, "Lets just talk... Not the other stuff they're probably expecting us to do."

Harry's low chuckle echoed and I could see him nod, "I agree."

I searched for a random topic off the top of my head but Haz bet me to it, "So... who's in your family?" Harry asked.

I shrugged, making out its not a big deal, "The usual. Mum, dad, my bro... I also have a few aunts and uncles. But I have a one grandmother and grandfather I haven't met yet."

Harry raised an eyebrow, "Who's that?"

"Well, I'm not sure. They my dad's parents. They put my dad up for adoption when he was just a little kid. Then my grandparents who are not related to me adopted him." I laughed, "I still haven't met them, and either has my dad."

"What are they like?" Harry asked. Why is this boy so intrigued about my family life?

"Don't know. My dad doesn't really mention them. We don't even have any contact with them or anything." I replied, "But... I think my grandparent had a daughter named Anne or Alice or something that wasn't put up for adoption. Obviously that my dad's long lost sister."

"Anne, hey? What about your Auntie's and Uncles? How many do you have?"

"I have quite a few but none are blood related to me because of the adoption process thingy on my dad's side. But the ones that are blood related are just the mysterious Aunt and my other uncle, Matthew."

Harry almost choked, placing one hand on my shoulder, "Are you serious? That's like me! I have an aunt and two uncles that I don't know of, and my mystery aunts name is Karen and my mystery uncles' name is Ian and Matt!"

My heart skipped a beat, and then another. Is Harry saying I'm related to him? I shook my head, this can't be right. We don't look alike... do we? I'm... I'm sure if i have another look then we're not. We do have similar eyes... and the same colour hair. But one thing scared me the most... was it incest? Even if it were, was it legal in Australia and/ or the UK? Harry took my hand again and gripped it tightly. I didn't want to admit that I was his cousin, this would cause so much confusion and anger through out the fandom. The tears trickled down my face and Harry cupped his hand under my chin.

"Chelsea..." he whispered.

"Harry..." I whispered.

We knew what to say exactly and my world started to crash into a million peices. Everything clicked into place and I gripped my hand around Harry's even tighter. We stared into each others eyes and almost collapsed when we said it ourselves...

"We're cousins..."
