Moments In Time

Chelsea was just an normal girl with an obse... ahem... dedication with the biggest boy band of the generation... One Direction. But as soon as the five-some arrive in Melbourne, Australia, Chelsea's life is turned upside down. Meeting up with them is once-in-a-lifetime... but when more opportunities pop up, it seems too good to be true.

49. Lights, Camera... PERFORM!

I breathed out slowly and glanced one more time in the mirror. I heard the crowd of girls (and maybe the odd boy...) roar Ed's name as he sang A Team perfectly. I was on, next, with my best friends and Five Seconds Of Summer.

The boys were frightened if we went on stage by ourselves, it wouldn't end pretty. Then again, the fans are unpredictable. I spun around and Zayn and Louis stood behind me, smiling, "You look beautiful!" They said in harmony.

I twisted my skater skirt around and a smile creeped its way onto my face, "You really think so?"

They both nodded and I blushed, charmed by them. I grabbed my personalized earpiece, a southern cross symbolizing my Australianism, and placed it in my ear. They gave a nod of approval and the two other girls appeared in the doorway along with Liam, Niall and Harry behind them. They had permanent smiles on their faces and I pulled them both in for a hug. The boys linked their arms around us and we all shared a massive group hug.

"Lets go Infinity 3..." I whispered quietly so none of the boys heard. The boys broke away and danced around us, patting us on the back and yelling 'Good Luck' in our ear.

I ran towards the wings and waited, seeing all four boys from '5 Seconds Of Summer' on the other side. We waved to them and they ran onto stage when their song started. Us girls waited for them to finish half of their song and a DJ mixing sound echoed through the arena. 5SOS froze in place and is girls strutted onto the stage, not being greeted by an as large applaud...

Change, change your life, take it all

We're gonna stick together, know we'll get through it all

Change, change your life, take it all (yeah, take it all)

You're gonna use it to become what you've always known

(Become what you've always known)

Us girls sang to harmony (obviously not as good as Little Mix) but captured the audience's attention. The strobe lights then went crazy, dancing across the stage and the crowd and we jumped to the beat. 5SOS and us girls did a round, a prefect remix of two good songs. We soon finished off our first song and smiled at the crowd, letting them go wild for a few moments.

But they weren't cheering for us...

They were cheering for the boys.

"How about a round of applause to, Five Seconds Of Summer!" I screeched into my microphone, sending the girls screaming. The girls and I walked off to the side and the boys sang their hit song, Out Of My Limit. We waited patiently for them to finish and I couldn't help but smile. I was so nervous but as soon as I started singing, it all washed away. It was like I was born to perform; fear never really grabs hold of me tightly.

Finally, the four boys had inished up and us girls made it to the centre of the stage. 5SOS introduced us to the crowd and it almost fell silent. They didn't want us here, they wanted One Direction. Most of the girls in the front had unhappy looks on their faces, I couldn't see the other rows.

The familiar guitar riff started and I stepped forward towards the crowd, trying to get them to clap their hands

I'm feeling sexy and free

Like glitter's raining on me

You're like a shot of pure gold

I think I'm bout to explode

I danced my way back and strolled around stage as Julia took over the rest of the verse. I slowly made my way over to the far right of stage and waved to a few young fans who successfully captured my attention. Mia sung beautifully...

We can do this all night

Turn this love skin tight

Baby come on

Ooh ooh ooh ooh

Boomin' like a bass drum

Sparkin' up a rhythm

Baby, come on!

Ooh ooh ooh ooh

We sang the rest of the songs and I really, did not care, if the audience didn't like us on stage or not. I just wanted to have a bit of fun! But I certainly wasn't happy when we were bombarded with items such as glow sticks, shoes and empty plastic water bottles. Soon enough, we finished off by performing Turn Up The Love by Far East Movement ft. Cover Drive, which went pretty well if you asked me. I hurried off stage where the twenty minute interval began. Voices were lowered and muffled conversations began.

That was the most awkward show...

EVER.
