Face the Music

Julia is your typical sixteen year old girl. She lives with her mother and her little sister Marty, she has her insecurities, she has her boy issues, and oh yeah, her love for the British/Irish boy-band One Direction. When her seventeenth birthday arrives, everything seems perfect....until it all fell apart piece by piece. But to every rainy day there is always a rainbow, what will happen when she unexpectedly 'falls hard' for not one, but two of the boys in One Direction? And what would happen if they both like her back? Would rivalry break everyone apart? Or will the fandom get to them first? Just as life is, every situation has two faces. One is an amazing benefit, and the other could lead to sacrifice...

4. Face...One Direction????

"You see she's fine. We don't have to stop at the hospital." I opened my eyes and looked around. All I saw was five teenage boys staring at me and an older looking man too. "Alright! Paul strikes again!" Everything looked blurry, but I could make out that the boy who said that was wearing a striped shirt and suspenders. I tried to sit up, but my back still really hurt so I had to stay down. "Are you alright?" A boy in a blazer asked. I lifted my arm to remove the ice pack from my forehead. I could finally manage to sit up with his help. "My head and back still hurt, but yes, I'm fine." I looked around, my eyes still a little blurry, but I could tell that I was in a...bus? "Where am I?" I asked with my hand on my forehead. "You're on our tour bus. You see, we were coming out of our show at the Molson Amphitheater through the back door as we always do to avoid causing too much chaos with the fans. We didn't see you behind the door and honestly we were in a rush to leave, so we hit-" "Harry, hit." the boy in the striped shirt corrected him. "You in the head with the door really hard." He continued. Suddenly, my vision was clear again and I saw their faces. My head, still sore put the pieces together... Harry, Louis, Paul...I was in One Direction's tour bus!

I wanted to scream I was so happy, but I didn't for two reasons. First, the pain kind of unabled me from screaming, and secondly, if they trusted me enough to bring me on their bus, I shouldn't repay them with crazy fangirling. So I kept listening and playing 'cool'.

"Then, you laid unconcious on the pavement." said Louis. "We couldn't leave you there so Paul here, carried you into our tour bus." "And here you are now." said Harry with a smile on his face. On television, his smile only made me a little excited. But in person, seeing him smile made me smile back and even blush a bit. "Ok guys, we can let- sorry what's your name?" asked Paul. "Oh, I'm Julia." I said sitting up straighter. "We can let Julia go now. We are already going to be late for your radio interview." As much as I never wanted to leave, I agreed to them letting me go. It wouldn't be right for their other fans to not be able to listen to them on the radio because of me. As I stood up to leave, my back ached unbearably making me fall back down on the bed.

"Hold that thought." said Paul. We all looked outside the tinted windows to see paparazi starting to line outside the bus. The boys looked at each other and then Niall spoke up "We can't let her leave now. If she leaves the bus, the paparazi will be all over her with questions of who she is and why she was on the bus. And furthermore, she can't even stand-up. I can see it on the papers now 'One Direction Knocks Fan Out Cold.'" Paul ran his finger through his hair and thought for a while "Is this ok with you Julia. If you're parents don't know you're with us, you could put the whole 1D system in even more trouble of 'kidnapping' their child. I thought for a while. I could probably explain this to my parents later, they were understanding people. "This is like the time I stayed out until one in the morning because I was working on my school project at my friend's house." I explained. It was a weak example, but I hoped it was enough to convince Paul to let me stay. "Did your parents know where you were?" he asked. "Nope. And they kind of give me freedom since I'm seventeen today." I smiled. "Oh it's your birthday?" asked Zayn. I nodded. "Come on Paul! As a birthday present?" Harry gushed. "You are a fan right?" he asked me. "The biggest!" I said with a bit of sarcasm in my voice. The boys laughed briefly. "Fine." Said Paul, " We're wasting time just talking about this. But after their interviews, you have to go home. And you have to stay in this bus when the boys go to the hotel for the interviews too." "Deal!" I said as the excitement took over me. I was going to be spending the day with One Direction! My day had just gone from the worst birthday to the absolute best. Could things get any better?
