Face the Music

Julia is your typical sixteen year old girl. She lives with her mother and her little sister Marty, she has her insecurities, she has her boy issues, and oh yeah, her love for the British/Irish boy-band One Direction. When her seventeenth birthday arrives, everything seems perfect....until it all fell apart piece by piece. But to every rainy day there is always a rainbow, what will happen when she unexpectedly 'falls hard' for not one, but two of the boys in One Direction? And what would happen if they both like her back? Would rivalry break everyone apart? Or will the fandom get to them first? Just as life is, every situation has two faces. One is an amazing benefit, and the other could lead to sacrifice...

32. Face the Moment- And Break It

Julia's POV

I just stood there. LIke an icicle hanging down from a roof in the winter, in front of Harry. We both kept steady eye contact, not even bothering to blink. Of course I was faced with the issue of trying to resist the urge to look at his abs. But him being him, I really couldn't. I glanced at his perfectly toned abs. Damn. If I was drinking water, I would have probably done a perfect movie-like spit-take. I quickly set my sight back on his face and to my surprise; a smirk of pride grew on his face. It probably read, 'Like what you see?' However the only question I could concentrate on was why wasn't he leaving to get dressed? And was he just asking me to pounce on him? Haha just kidding about that last one.

"Heelloooo?" Louis waved his hand in front of our faces in attempt to snap us back to reality. I quickly turned around so that my back was facing Harry. "Ten seconds, please put on something to wear?" He gave out a low chuckle and was about to leave when he added, "Sure babe, but you know you liked what you saw." I know I shouldn't have felt too guilty because I didn't really 'check him out.' I never looked anywhere lower than his abs intentionally if you know what I meant...but yet I had a mixed feeling. Lust and embarrasement all at the same time.

In around five minutes, Harry came back out of his room. Thankfully, clothed and his hair much more...tamed?

"Happy?" He asked standing in front of me waiting for my approval. I looked up from the milk I was pouring into each of the glasses on the counter. Plain blue t-shirt and a pair of grey sweat-pants. Good...and strangely, he even made that simple combo look hot. I nodded to him and he walked towards me. Hugging me and wrapping his strong arms around me from the back. He lightly kissed me on my head and laughed as I looked up at him. "Babe I think that's enough milk." I quickly shot my glance onto the cup that I was holding. It was completely overflowing onto the counter! "Crap." I grabbed a towel from the cupboard and started to soak up the milk. "I'll handle it." He said soothingly taking the towel from my hands to help me. That's when I remembered. I had said those exact words to Niall earlier. Confirming that I would handle confessing about the 'kiss' to Harry.

I stepped back and watched as Harry caringly wiped the counter dry and smiled at me. "Done! Now where were we?" He walked back over to me and hugged me at the waist again. He looked into my eyes and started to pull me towards him. I could feel his breath on my face...we were that close. And he was about to place his lips on mine, when I took a step back. "What's wrong?-" "Harry I can't. I need to tell you something."
