Picture Perfect

It all started with a job. Chloe Miller had a job. As a photographer. In London. For the hit t.v. show XFactor. She never new that the five boys she became best friends with would end up being the most popular boy band in the world. She never knew that they would would break their promise either. Or her heart.

1. Big Break

London, England- the place every teenage girl wanted to be. I was lucky enough to live that fantasy. My life was pretty good. Wealthy parents, big family, and an amazing job. Not to mention I was a professional photographer and a college student at the age of just 16. Yep that was me, Chloe Miller, a semi-normal girl from New York City.
I only attended three years of high school and then bam it was right off to college for me. My parents always pushed me to do my best. I didnt start having a social life until 10th grade, then I became popular right away and made a lot of friends. But then i went off to NYU in Manhattan and lost all of them.
Ok so I wasnt exactly a professional photographer, more like an amateur. I liked photographing people and doing photoshoots, things like that. My first big break was when i was sent to London to photograph for XFactor, the singing competion show. I never really heard of it before then, all I knew was that Simon Cowell was a judge, and that guy was a legend. This trip to London changed my life, so I thought I'd share it.

I walked into the air port rolling my two large suitcases behind me. My Louis Vuitton carry on was slung over my shoulder. At 6 oclock in the morning, I looked like a mess. A messy bun sat on top of my head, strands of my dark brown hair that fell loose brushed my face. I kept my Ray Bans on my face to cover the bags under my eyes and a comfortable pink Victoria Secrets sweat suit with Ugg slippers was the icing on the very unattractive cake. All name brands, I know. You can thank my parents for that- the lawyer and the dentist. I'm not a brat but my parents do spoil me. They were walking behind me, my mother was practically in tears that "the baby" of the family was leaving her for a couple of months. My dad had a comforting arm around her shoulder while my 18 year old twin brothers Andy and Tommy walked on either side of her.
"Mom dont cry, it's only for a little while then I'm coming home," I assured her. "Anyway, Jade will be there looking after me." Jade is my older cousin, she's 20 and is attending college in London. I'm going to be staying with her in her flat. Even though we're 4 years apart, we're really close and she's so much fun to be around.
"Yeah Ma, you trust Jade right?" Andy said, a huge grin across his face. My brothers were amused by this. Jade was the biggest party animal and care free person ever but my mom didnt know that. And we had a bet. They thought that I wouldnt be able to last longer than 2 weeks without having a nervous break down and calling to come home. Well I beg to differ.
"Of course... it's just I'm gonna miss you so much!" At this my mom burst out crying and pulled me into a big bear hug.
"Mom stop, you're making a scene... Dad, a little help?" I asked as people started to stare. My dad pryed my mom off of me. He was the lawyer, so leave it to him to be calm and collective.
"Well this is where we go our separate ways...," I said. Dont get me wrong, i was a little sad to be leaving but after 16 years of my parents smothering and controlling me, I was glad to have a break. I hugged and kissed goodbye each of my family members individually.
"Dont forget to call us every day, ok little sis," Tommy said, patting me on the head.
"Yeah yeah, I wont forget," I laughed.
"And don't forget our little bet," Andy whispered so our parents couldnt hear. They probably wouldnt approve.
I smiled at him and then at the rest of my family. "I love you guys."
And with that, I turned and headed towards the bag check
